Nice presentation on playing a different style guard isolating an arm and good options to sweep or got o back and some subs
I highly recommend anything by Chad Lyman. Everything he teaches involves rock solid concepts and principles that will have an immediate effect on your game.
This is an extremely simple and easy to learn way to play bottom guard. It's designed to quickly teach someone how to fight not only in BJJ but street self defense. Chad Lyman is a former police officer and this is the sort of stuff that violence professionals need to get up to speed.
A good tutorial about and unusual way of gripping
Nice and simple techniques, very well explained.
Excellent instructional. It was enjoyable to watch and easily applied. Like anything else, it will need drilling to perfect it, but it is not overly complicated.
I really enjoyed this instructional. The concepts seem easy to implement and learn (but as everything prob hard to master) but I think what Chad shows can have an immediate impact on anyone's game.
A good, complete system. A clever game easy to add to any game.
Very simple concept. Was able to apply it during a roll instant. Makes butterfly more useful with more room to be creative with it outside it.
This instructional is a pure gem, Chad shows how to adapt his system not only to bjj, but also to ni-gi and self defence, in my opinion is a complete system since it can adapt to any situation, and that's rare nowadays, with all the modern stuff. Absolutly worth 5 stars.
The anchor guard is a really simple concept that branches off into different directions. Really smart, well thought out. The only reason for four stars instead of five is that the audio wasn't great because Chad was using a lapel type microphone that cut out a few times.
I have purchased Chad's previous instructionals and really liked them so I thought I would give this one a go. It covers a really solid principal of anchoring the arm and working from there. All techniques are presented clearly and after playing with them a little I definitely will be adding them to my game. I look forward to Chad's next project.
