Anytime I get a Mikey dvd I’m super happy with the simple details that are just game changing, nobody thinks of this stuff the dude has a lot of free time hahahah the reaction based approach and concept are always awesome and easy to incorporate to my game. This one though I felt like it would have been important to just have 1 hour or chapter about collar sleeve on a standing opponent or with one knee up, because that’s the reaction people give most
english subtitle please.. simply..
I picked this up somewhat cautiously, looking to improve collar sleeve gaurd. But after watching I see any trepidation was completely misplaced. I, though admittedly very new to the art, was using the position as more or less a holding one: either attempt a scissor sweep or a basic triangle attempt visible a mile away. If all else failed, use push pull pressure to prevent the pass. But after watching this I have a vastly improved understanding of the position, and can now proceed from simply holding an opponent in a guard to systematically attacking. After one watch through (I'll need more) I was able to attack an omoplata and finish with a scissor sweep on a purple belt who has about 30lbs on me. I don't know how better to recommend it: one watch through, immediate technical success. The very instant volume 2 drops I am picking it up. Thank you Professor Musemeci!!!
Great content, solves many problems I have earlier had when playing collar-sleeve!
Years of knowledge from a master beautifully presented. Priceless
