Solid half guard system
You don't have time to train every position and scenario in bjj unless you are Gordon Ryan so pick what you want to be good at. If you want to be good a half-guard, you need to learn the coyote guard. Period. Lucas is a creative grappler so anything he shows is gold.

Very simple but yet very effective guard system. I love playing this guard when I get the chance. Something to improve is to show what he is doing from various angles; seems like the camera is blocking a few hand positions. Thank you for this instructional.

Lucas Leite developed a guard which offers the use of leverage in perfection. It works even great for older and less flexible guys like me. It makes great sweps and backtakes available and of course submissions. I really like to comine it with x-guard and SLX. Highly recommend!1!

For HG, this is place you want to be...and this is the man whose game eveyone emulates. This is an older video, but I have seen others and I feel this is the best place to get this information. It is very comprehensive and still relevant to a Half Guard game today.

If you have any interest in playing half guard in the gi, you need this. As someone from an MMA background, I really appreciated the heavy focus on sweeps and back takes rather than just playing from bottom. I would recommend being comfortable with half guard as a whole before watching just because this instructional focuses on coyote and not the many other variations that can occur, but it's 100% worth purchasing for that detailed focus once you have the overall basis down.

This series is fantastic. It outlines a clear to the top from half guard. The techniques shown easily flow together. I had instant access as soon as I completed my purchase. Great job guys. I am also happy to support a company run by fellow bjj guys who are putting back into the sport!

I'm a beginner and need the extra review plus training. I also bought the no gi one too. This should help me out more for the end of our classes. Once I go through all of his vids and get used to implementing them more often, then I'll buy more too.
