Teddy Atlas provides a detailed introduction to the principles of boxing. He makes each step easy to follow and practice for new and experienced practitioners. His way of presenting is animated and doesn't follow a script which makes viewers pay attention more closely.
Great instructional. I’m not a boxer but this felt like being taught by a wise old sage. Teddy Atlas is both funny and no nonsense at the same time. And he provides solid fundamentals in an easy to understand way. Not over your head if you’re new to the sport. Loved the example references Teddy makes to pro boxers as he describes a technique.
Teddy's love for the sport of boxing is completely inspiring. Don't try to just watch these DVDs. Go ahead and do yourself a favor. Move the furniture because you are gonna want to Box while watching this. Two gloves up for this set :boxing_glove:
This has reawakened my love for boxing. Teddy Atlas breaks everything down in such an entertaining way. The whole experience was leisure from start to finish.
The fundamentals of boxing was a great presentation by Teddy Atlas, a brilliant coach. Everything was easy to understand and it covered all the basics.
Very insightful. A great instructional video for any beginner. Teddy Atlas is one of boxing’s great communicators and trainers and its awesome to see him teaching the fundamentals of the sport he has dedicated over 40 years of his life to. He keeps the viewer wanting more because his methods are far from bland. He paints pictures as he teaching and makes comments to keep things light and fun. Point blank, if you want to learn from one of boxing’s best, get this dvd.
Really nice, the exercices are greats. Well explained.
I am an entry-level boxing coach in Italy (sorry I don't know how you call them in the USA Boxing system) and I find this video incredibly rich of material to teach to my athletes, it gives many many ideas to think about and experiment, I think I can use this material to better teach my young beginners the fundamentals of boxing.
Great wisdom from a great man , thanks Teddy
Great info and insight from a LEGEND!!!Always a great job BJJFanatics👍
Surely anyone reading this that knows me, won't be surprised that regardless of BD MMA & BJJFanatics having a good working relationship, that all things Teddy Atlas are getting 5 stars only because I couldn't give more. I'm half way through the second 'DVD', and smiling. The OG's that have been in the trenches and speak truth like Teddy does are so rare, you treat them like diamonds. Ironically a birdie told me Teddy and his co-host watched my Poirier breakdown (maybe Bud Crawford actually?) and it was like Rogan saying how important I was on the podcast the first time. Enough about me, this is a lesson in humility and toughness that I can't fathom someone NOT getting something out of. The technical details creep in gradually, from white belt to black (if such a thing existed in western boxing) and you realize you're listening to boxing royalty, and I'm a striking coach first!! If in a fleeting though, purchasing this crept in, listen to your muse. I have a few instructionals lol, but this is magical, thank you Professor Faria and team, and thanks Teddy, you've inspired a generation of pugilists. This is amazing, 10 stars.
