This instructional video helps a lot to understand slow pressure passing without pressing. I think it's great concept for older practisioner! it's definitely worth learning!
Clear explanations of techniques, very suited to an older and slower guy like me.
After years of trying to figure out the over under pass this instructional finally made it all make sense. The mirroring principle made the angles click and the balance and pressure feel totally different. Some amazing information in this!
This. great series which explores in depth the why's and the how's of pressure. It is not simply a series of techniques rather highly effective concepts which allow you to monitor physical feed back and adjust accordingly while actively rolling. I have implemented many of these concepts which have resulted in recent comments such as 'you know what I'm about to do' and ' I feel like you're always up to something. This series is wonderful for addressing the often overlooked phsycology of fight. If you can mess with their mind everything else becomes more effective. Crash tested, Bravo!
I'm extremely picky when it comes to committing to understanding and sistematically practicing what a coach has to offer but since I met Wim, I don't miss anything of what he puts online. This dvd in particular made a lot of concepts and situations "click" in our training. Can't recommend it enough.
This is a top notch instructional, which perhaps is the best from the series in describing "Mirroring Principle" mechanics in action (so to speak). It indeed includes essential mechanics how to pressure pass someone's guard without giving your opponent much (if any) chance to recover. When applied correctly this type of pressure passing doesn’t require wasting a lot of strength/energy on your part (because it's completely opposite for your opponent). Patience and balance is a key here and if you're looking for something that will work during the whole of your BJJ Journey, this instructional could become precious to you.
Really good instructional that takes your understanding to a new level!
This dvd is a important part of the hole series. Wim explains on detail the hole concept so that it's totally easy later to use the pressure in other positions. Thanks for that
Wim's style is patience: every inch you give him, you'll never get back, and eventually you tap. These are clear and useful insights in his way of fighting.
Great details, concepts and insights, can recommend it for everyone who wants to get more details on pressure passing. Well worth your money.
I know Wim and his pressure passing from first hand. Wim is an excellent practitioner in this, and an amazing teacher. The baby bridge principal is difficult at first, but has a lot of advantages against stronger and/or faster opponents. I would highly recommend his tutorials!
