Great stuff, a bit slower demonstrations at times would be appreciated
Good and to the point, a bit too fast movements during the demonstrations but that's not too much of a problem for most people
Concise and effective
Great
very applicable and highly suggested if you want to pin your opponent while passing.
Lots of content to learn in less than 30 minutes, definitely give it a go if you are looking for competition-tested techniques explained straight to the point.
Solid instructional on the fundamentals of the over-under pass. It doesn't go into all the ins and outs, what-ifs, etc. but it's a good introduction which will allow you to parachute an effective technique into your game.
As both a BJJ and Judo black belt, I really appreciated this video and the techniques shown. The Passes shown here can be used in either BJJ or Judo competitions, they are powerful, safe, and effective. This is a video I recommend everyone purchase and study. I immediately added a few of these techniques into my game after watching and studying this video. Jimmy Pedro is the best Male Judo player that the Untied States has ever produced, he knows his stuff better than anyone, and that knowledge comes through here .
The destination is the same as the style Bernardo Faria teaches but how you get there is slightly different. The lapel grip helps me control bigger or more athletic training partners.
very good instructions and techniques
If you find yourself lost in a sea of limitless passing options but don't know where to start, buy this instructional. You will learn a few basic passes and how to trouble shoot common problems. Will this allow you to pass everyone in your gym? Probably not. But it will give you a great place to start.
Sensei Jimmy Pedro mastered the simplification of the over/under pass. He covers all main counters and how to recounter them and attack. He points out very sharp when to increase and maintain pressure and when to pace up or accelerate. Highly recommend!!
Jimmy Pedro brings all his expertise and all the power of Judo into this masterclass.
This is a highly focused look at the over pass. In about 20 minutes, Pedro breaks down the pass itself, discusses relevant variations, and how to deal with common counters. Useful stuff you can incorporate right away.
Expert insights into the over under pass that have really helped me. Some Judo insights that have translated well to BJJ. Pedro is a master teacher.
I controlled and passed a four-stripe blue belt with this tonight. I felt bad because he seemed to be having an existential crisis afterward. But it was nice to be in control for once. This isn't like many instructions that get complicated fast. Instead, it works on one pass and deals with a few of the most common complications. Sometimes less is more. This instruction only lasts about twenty-five minutes, but that's nice because I can review it without much effort. All in all, solid instruction for a reasonable price. The video has multiple angles and good audio. I have zero complaints.
I'll admit, at first I thought there wasn't going to be much to this video since it's only covering one pass, but after seeing how much detail is given covering it from different angles and how much time he spends covering "what if's", I can say I was definitely wrong. If you want a bunch of overwhelming complicated ideas, this isn't for you. If you want one simple very-well explained concept, this will be right up your alley.
A lot of information on the over under. Even situations and scenarios he goes through. Definitely a must in my game.
