really great judo
Surprisingly thorough for a pretty short video. Highly applicable for either judo or BJJ rule sets. Jimmy Pedro and Travis Stevens are newaza masters.
I'm not a jiujiutero but a judoka and this video, basic as it may be, gives a better conceptual understanding of the armbar either when attacking the turtle position or when rolling out from under your opponent. It might seem basic for more advanced practitioners and maybe a bit thin for someone who want to master the armbar, but I believe that the concepts discussed and shown in this video gives a realistic approach that is more than useful for most grapplers.
Excellent Olympian’s
Brilliant focus on arm-bar set ups and escapes, as well as counters to those escapes, from two master Judokas! Really good stuff!!
Not flashy easy to follow and understandable. Great arm bar techniques.
Well explained and useful instructional if you are looking for armbar setups from a Judo perspective.

May be the first video that has the camera angle right, speed of instructions, and added knowledge nuggets as you proceed. Very good
WONDERFUL
Judo approach to armbars, very detailed explanation, there's enough content both for beginners and advanced competitors (i.e. how to get the sub even if you get stacked).
very detailed on the most sought submission
Excellent details
Excellent material, they cover the Juji Gatame in a short time
great video on how to separate and finish armbars. Must watch for everyone struggling to separate defensive hands!
Short but excellent instructional on arm locks from various positions. Highly recommend!!
complete and concise review of the juji-gatame, love it
Short, but dense. More than suggested.
Sensei Jimmy Pedro and Sensei Travis Stevens provided a great series about the juji gatame out of the cloes guard and the turtle top position. They cover in depth entries and grip breaks as well as countering the common counters and eventually finish the armbar. They show in great detail how to use youre whole body to put weight on your opponent´sRead more about review stating Juji gatame made simple limbs to turnover from turtle and primarely the arm which is defending when your opponent is flat on the mat. A great subject is also how to avoid and counter stacking from closed guard and finish from bottom as well as from top when you put your opponent´s back on the ground. Highly recommend!
Short but useful instructional on juji from a couple of experts
Clear, concise instructions. It's a short instructional but you are bound to get something out of it regardless how long you have been training. Bonus points for young Jimmy Pedro!
A very thorough look at the JG is given here by Stevens. Nice details and explanations.
