incredible to learn from top tier dudes like Craig in such a digestible format. watch video -> take to mats -> watch more of the video -> take to mats.
Learning how to maintain and attack from z guard, and using both reverse DLR and DLR in connection with your z guard, will make your guard very tough to deal with
Great introduction!!
I thought this was a great instructional. A more serious Craig Jones really does a great job of explaining Z guard from start to finish. I was able implement his teaching quickly into my rolls. I've never been disappointed by Criag's instructionals.
This instructional gave me a bunch of options for my z guard game. Caught many people in the triangle choke.
Craig's Z guard instructional became the backbone of my no-gi guard game. I had to rely upon my half-guard or full. This instruction introduced me to no-gi guards for different effective ranges. It's definitely one of this classics.
Great start to Z Guard/ Half Guard. It has been super helpful as I had no half guard game before. One of the most helpful techniques is the butterfly leg pommel to prevent the knee cut. Great stuff.
Craig has a very concise teaching style which helps the information stick easy
Improve z game massively
Just showing how to shut down the weave pass against the knee shield was worth the money paid.
Good Video overall. Good technique just be aware part one is really only on Z-guard part 2 covers Reverse dela heva and part 3 covers regular de la heva. Craig Jones is a great teacher and the material is good just wish it had more actual z guard in it.
I love the content. I bought the video a few weeks ago, and already hit multiple z-guard Triangles.
Being able to switch from Z to Reverse DLR and DLR is important. This instructional covers exactly this pattern in detail, and Craig is phenomenal at explaining things. Buy it, won't regret
Not behd, good size
my Z guard offensive game dramatically improved
Really helped my z guard and transitions into the leg attacks
Completely changed my outlook on using the Z guard vs the closed guard.
Been catching triangles, guillotines, kimuras and armbars from Z guard ever since digging in to this instructional. Can’t recommend it enough, and the same goes for Make Z Guard Great Again, also by Craig Jones. You already know who he is and how good he is, so do yourself a favor and get this one. Hugely informative sections on combining Reverse DLR with Z Guard. Reverse DLR back takes are my new secret sauce. Psssh… Berimbolo, Sherimbolo.
This has some cool techniques
I've progressed so much with this information
After my first tournament I started using this guard and it has changed my game. The instructor gives clear concise examples of using it live.
Was the first instructional that sent me down the bjj fanatics rabbit hole. Great for people who starting off playing Z and also people who've been training a while as well.
very nice intro to the z guard
Great instructional, the techniques are awesome and the way they are ordered is just effective .
Hello. The videos I purchased are gifts so I am not able, or qualified, to give you replies to these questions. But, in case you want to know, the recipient of the videos was thrilled!!! Thank you and Happy Christmas.
