It helps my closed guard play :)

In this instructional Mason Fowler lays out his closed guard system for which he is known in the world of gi and no GI grappling. His main route of action is to use over and under hooks from bottom closed guard combined with very efficient ways to break down an opponent.
great
Excellent explanation
very useful position that isn't often explored with depth. I'm loving this information
great instructional to level up your over and under hook attacks from closed guard.
Very clear and concise details.
Mason is a great teacher first of all. This instructional is very interesting because it's based on using over and under hooks from the closed guard. I've never been in a gym that teaches over and unders from the guard. Most works no gi also and this is a plus!!
Great instructional with practical easy to use set ups from the guard
Closed guard is my preferred guard. Have been doing it since day 1. Walked away with some things for sure
Awesome! Mason's closed guard system is really effective. Simple to understand and works gi or no gi.
Easy to understand, easy to hit on the mats
I have 50+ videos from BJJ Fanatics and this is one of my favorites. The techniques are detailed without being overwhelming, clear, and easy to understand. This should be the standard for how other videos are laid out. I love the side scissor position and these techniques have been gold for me. If you like closed guard, I assure you this is one of the best ways -- if not the best -- to play it.
A comprehensive game from the closed guard… highly recommended
While there are many instructional DVDs on no-gi rubber guard, I think there are very few on rubber guard techniques in the context of wearing gi. For this reason, I believe this DVD is particularly valuable. Furthermore, the credibility of this DVD is enhanced by the fact that Prof. Mason has actually used these techniques to win international black belt competitions.
Fabulous instructions Effective and Easy to understand! It is worth paying gold!
This closed guard instructional teaches how to break down your opponent and then using your arms (i.e., utilising underhooks and overhooks to ultimately clinch the opponent chest to chest) and in conjunction with your legs to restrain your opponent, which provides the opportunity to either sweep or submit them. In some situations where the submission fails Mason Fowler teaches how to take the opponent’s back. Further into the instructional a series of rubber guard techniques are taught to again restrain the opponent in a compromised position to facilitate the application of submission techniques. The instructional is taught in the Gi and has a total runtime of 2 hours. In my opinion closed guard bottom position only works well for most people if they can break down the opponent and then successfully hold them chest to chest to enable the application of appropriate submission techniques. This approach can work well, even if the opponent is stronger or larger. Space in the closed guard bottom position is your enemy and this instructional teaches you how to firstly remove this space, hold the opponent close and select a relevant submission or sweep. As shown in this instructional Mason Fowler is an effective instructor. He speaks and demonstrates clearly. Demonstrations are repeated from different angles. Problems or likely opponent reactions that maybe encountered when using techniques are identified and solutions discussed. Mason Fowler is focused on teaching each technique including all the necessary details and there is no unnecessary banter. In my opinion the techniques are effective, not overly complicated and don’t require you to be particularly athletic or flexible (note his recommendations when using the rubber guard). A technique highlight is an effective way of finishing a tight triangle (Vol. 3 Chapter 2). Video (quality including range, lighting and focus) and sound are good. If your closed guard is not working well or you wish to improve, then I would recommend purchasing this instructional to add to your instructional library.
