• Outstanding material on grip fighting

  As someone whose background is primarily in wrestling/ MMA, I've always felt much less comfortable in gi standup because of my relative unfamiliarity with grip fighting. This instructional goes a long way towards ameliorating that- the material is very clearly explained and systematically presented. I especially appreciated how the techniques are demonstrated with a taller uke to show their effectiveness on larger opponents.

• Complete Handfighting Gameplan

  Sensei Katelyn Jarrell provided a concise and sensible pathway how to deal with your opponent's gripping attempts and eventually grips. It starts with denying goes ovet breaking up to negating and using them to counter attack. It is a samall amount of techniques explained on point and deeply in terms of focusing on the grips. Tactically and technically. Highly recommend!

• Well Made and Well Organized Video

  I am a big fan of her videos. She does an excellent job of explaining. First, she describes prevention, then clearing, and finally counters. I will not pretend to be an expert in Judo (BJJ guy). However, I will say that one of the most intimidating parts of BJJ competitions is starting in a standing position and the fact that your opponents go crazy. However, this is the primary part of the competition where you can gain an advantage if you put the time in and have a strategy. In terms of quality, the videos have good sound, and she provides multiple angles.
