Craig always has one or two details that I never see from other instructors., which often make lower percentage moves high percentage. His details on killing the hooks from body locks have completely changed the way I use the pass.

fantastic instructional with a wide array of information on dealing with all different types of gaurd players eg supline, seated, standing to put people into non point scoring positions with full control and make them gas out with constant pressure. feel sorry for Tyler :joy:

If I had enough money I would buy every one of the Craig Jones instructionals lol. He explains the concepts well and in a way that makes them easy to remember. This is something you can watch that will immediately improve your game no matter what level you are. I really like the new modern approach to pins with the intention of scoring fatigue, rather than points and how Craig illustrates exactly how to implement this strategy

Great instructional. I heard some fair critiques about this that you won't get good at breaking guards following instructional, since Craig's thesis is that you should avoid getting into guards altogether. There's merit to that. However, that's a bit like saying don't practice guard retention and only positional escapes. What's valuable about this is the strategy you'd employ in a competition. Give them nothing, tire them out, pass and submit. I had Danaher's New Wave guard pass instructional, so I wasn't sure if I should get it, but I'm glad I did. Danaher doesn't really cover the strategy aspect in his, more the mechanics of passes. Craig is heavy on ideas and tactics.

Craig is a great teacher and explains concepts very well. He adds a lot of humor to this video. His concept of the power top already got me rethinking my game. There is a ton of info and ideas and the first hour is all conceptual way at looking at and staying on top.
