Jones is the perfect teacher because he is funny and shares a lot of contrarian ideas that seem to be correct. Other instructionals tend do be very dry by comparison. Power Top really helped me. The one thing that I'd change about all BJJ fanatics instructionals is that there should be more of a recap and drills section at the end.
The idea of using flanking to fatigue people rather than immediately pass their guards is interesting. Great material from craig as always
Awesome, a new way of thinking guard passing without dealing with the guard of your opponent. Why dealing with guard when you can pass with greater safety.
Craig Allen at his best. Highly recommend combining this with Power Ride. As always, Craig Jones is highly entertaining and a great teacher.
This is the definitive nogi guard passing instructional. A MUST!
C.J. delivers a great instructional about guard passing. The overall approach is to guide the game from the very beginning. Force positional transitions and that is where you catch the hit. Concepts of fatique the opponent and pressure are leading through this instructional. And of corse movement. In out and around and again until you hit it. Highly recommend!
Good stuff! Useful concepts
I saw a review online suggesting you could skip this instructional, I disagree strongly. Excellent concepts.
The 2nd most powerful series Craig has produced. Lots of fun ways to attack the guard.
Craig always has creativity about grappling
Craig Jones is incredible. There are a lot of creative sequences that opened my mind for different ways to approach the position.
I’m a purple belt who’s always kind of struggled with the top game. I’ve always felt like my bottom game whether it’s leg locks or sweeping was a lot more predominant and the way I approach jiujitsu. If you find yourself with in that kind of realm of player, I suggest you buy this if you really want to see the potential of a full game in jiujitsu. These concepts will guarantee you a silver medal!
I've benefitted greatly from Craig's teaching style and have implemented the ideas almost instantly from this instructional
Good stuff!! Worth the buy.
Very high level conceptual instructional that isn't afraid to go deeper into the technical details
Clear concepts, easy applicable and funny. Highly recommended.
good info for dealing with modern players
excellent for a hobbyist or world champ like mikey
As usual great stuff covered by Craig.
This is a great instructional with a lot of original content. Its more than just a passing instructional, it covers Craig's whole approach and top philosophy. There is a lot of stuff here that I haven't seen anywhere else.
Love this instructional
Excellent video quality with a conceptual approach to guard passing.
Great high level content made easy to digest. It's to the point the way craig teaches.
Craig's videos are always engaging and funny. Multiple interesting concepts and strategies to help your top game!!
Just like all of Craig’s instructionals , they are taught very well and can be applied to your bjj game immediately
