• First Principles may be the best instructionals for rapid improvement that exist.

  As usual Whittier gives not just the “what” but more importantly the “why” is this incredible defensive BJJ instructional. With these concepts you can immediately start to work yourself out of your opponents back control using concepts that apply to a myriad of situations rather than just techniques where you have to paint by the numbers. These are the body defensive BJJ instructional I’ve seen and I have all the big name instructionals. Danaher, Gordon, Pritt and many others. I think Stephen Whittiers are in a league of their own.

  " To Survive is to Win" Rickson Gracie It is tough to go wrong with SBG Coaches and Coach Whittier is no exception. I have his original escapes instructional, and it is still rock solid. The new material is refinement. If you are older and decide to have the mindset that escaping position can be as fun as submitting, this will be enjoyable.
