Bernardo does and amazing job at breaking down an easy to follow game plan. I am looking forward to implanting this into my training.
Great way to build a game plan from any position.
For a beginner this was a great intro to building a game plan and thinking about systems. The game plan is obviously great but also sticks to foundational movements that feel doable even for me as a white belt. Unexpectedly also learned alot about how to think about and create other systems. Not just a great road map but also a great blue print for building a system.
This instructional is highly focused on techniques that rely on the gi. If your training revolves around gi-based grappling, this will be a valuable resource for you. However, if you primarily train no-gi, other instructionals may align better with your style and preferences.

Great
Great Insight!
Very good for me. I am retired and slow. Very nice ideas on what to try when rolling
One of my current goals is to make my own game plan, but it's hard to get helpful advice on how to do that. This instructional gives a unique view into how Bernardo connects his techniques together and thinks about his options in each position. Even if you don't adopt his particular style, you'll learn about the kinds of situations you should consider and how to fix gaps in your game.
I'm enjoying watching this series and it's exactly what I was looking for; a step by step break down of an entire plan. worth it
EXCELLENT CONTENT & INSTRUCTIONS And I love Bernardo's enthusiasm & energy!
ok
I have been wanting this instructional for sometime now and wait was well worth it. In this instructional you we learn many options and plans to improve your Jiu Jitsu success outcomes.
I've known Bernardo since he first came to Marcelo's school. it was at night and he just got into New York and came straight to the academy. I would every now and then drive him to his apartment spike about a game plan after I did poorly in a tournament. At 61 I pretty much only do half guard , deep half and under over and it works almost all the time. you cannot go wrong with his method.
I enjoyed the video. It have given me a plan for a take down. As an older guy I’m not as good at takedowns as I’d like. This has given me a plan. I love the concept of the action leading to your best move, cutting out the middle man as he says.
good quality , well rounded and cohesive game plan, all positions tieing together sell
Bernardo teaches in a lucid & methodical way! I've trained & fought all over the world, B. has a pace that anyone can learn from!!
Excellent video from Bernardo, clear and concise
Sensacional
Awesome technique! I already used this technique on the mat! So.many thanks for wonderful instructional!
If you are a white belt or a blue belt interested in a half guard game, and you feel overwhelmed by the sheer number of techniques possible in BJJ, this instructional is a solid choice. Further, I recommend buying it before other indepth tutorials that focus on a single position, which often do more harm that good. As Bernardo mentions, three or so submissions/sweeps/ways to advance per position are enough in the beginning. Your instructor should be working on providing you with a base in classical BJJ (which is basically white and blue belt). Adding these techniques to what you are already learning should be more that enough to keep you busy until purple belt. Of course, defense is another story. I find that many gyms do not teach escapes often, and leave students to figure it out on their own. You might look for a supplemental tutorial that focuses on the defensive side as well. If you have already watched a million half guard instructionals like me, you'll be unlikely to see much of anything new here; however, it is a good reminder to simplify and declutter.
Fundamental, efficient BJJ for any age!
Good game plan for someone who has just started and not sure what to be doing . Gives you a wide view of everything
I use a lot of this already, but some extra great details and fantastic job tying everything together.
