This has really improved my ability to hold people down. One of my friends was extremely disappointed I bought it.
Creative work by mr jones.
Unconventional concepts for controlling bigger guys
inovative insights! i find it relly usifull tomorow comming in this approuch to grappling chalenge. highly recomend.
Introduces a completely different way of thinking about positional control for the top game. Even if the techniques themselves weren't great, the shift in mindset would be worth the price. But of course, the techniques ARE great. Craig explains everything clearly, with principles as well as the what/how of the moves, and he has a great sense of humor.
Great positional instructional from Craig Jones. He is quickly becoming my favorite. Craig has a a great sense of humor which makes his videos both entertaining and educational. Hoping to pick up more from him soon. Helpful for all levels.
Nice details to control and pin opponents into submission.
Great content. Really helpful tips on holding down your opponent.
Good instructional. Get it on sale. Harder then you would think to keep strong guys legs split. Craig jones had a longer body and also very strong seems very easy for him when you watch haha. Good techniques taught in this though would recommend for mma
Worried that as a white belt I wouldn't be able to understand much of this, but very much enjoyed the focus on concepts rather than a specific step-by-step style.
Absolute Gold, this simplifies Pinning a lot and gives you more and better options to pin. 10/10
I felt this series was both eye opening with its fresh concepts, but also fun to watch; absolutely amazing, worthy of a silver medal.
Easy to understand, worth trying this technique
Just great :) I really like it. More suited for modern grappling AND mma than old guard passing methods. Craig is a vwry likeable instructor. Need to add that my sparringpartners dont know how to deal with simple, yet effective pinning methods presented in the tutorial. Really clever positions and surprisingly easy to apply.
This instructional has elevated my game and really changed how I look at "dominant point scoring" positions. The leg pinning and riding is so effective in tiring out you opponents so they make mistakes that lead to submissions. Thank you craig!
Before watching Craig's instructional i had played around with the idea of using my legs to control my opponent's legs (obviously at a more rudimentary level) and this has helped me develop a much better understanding of how to apply it. Definitely a fresh take at what positions are considered good for controlling a person.
Great
Absolute gold, changed my game!!
If you want to keep your training partners guessing, definitely add this one to your game. I feel this is a concept that will be more developed and systematic as it becomes more mainstream in sport jiu jitsu. It is a great introduction to a world of alternative options that exist using traditional wrestling techniques/controls adapted for hunting submissions in no gi jits. I feel also you must be at least blue belt level or above to really understand how to add these elements to your no gi game. If you are a traditional gi player this instructional will definitely open your mind to this new approach. Open your mind and dont get left behind with this new way of thinking. I love all Craig Jones material, I watch B team on youtube everyday!
This instructional has really been a game changer for me. There’s a number of larger, more explosive athletes at my gym that I’ve struggled to control in traditional top positions. This instructional provided clear and repeatable methods for successfully controlling these athletes immediately after viewing. Don’t miss this one.
I love this product. It’s thoughtful, provocative concepts that stretch the ideas of why we do what we do as grapplers. I’m a strong proponent for control and superior positioning and this is the first product I’ve seen that really explores that and questions why certain positions are considered better than others. I’ve been eating this one up and highly recommend it to any grappler. Great stuff
Craig brings a completely different mindset to top game from what you’ll usually hear. This change in perspective opens up a lot of possibilities that I never considered before.
Excellent perspective on a missed topic in many schools. Craig is a great communicator. Very well done.
Craig Jones is really doing some interesting things. Rather than just showing some techniques he's trying to establish a new way to play the position. This is a game changer.
Really cool series on how to apply top pressure in unique ways
