  This is by far the best explanations of BJJ I have come across, whether through direct instruction or online courses. Prof. Henry Akins can break down techniques and give the overall picture/philosophy of the movement (or purpose of the movement) first before focusing on the details, which is how I preferred to learn. I have always had trouble learning when the instructor focuses on a specific technique or going deep into a technique without first adequately explaining WHY this technique. It takes great skill, knowledge, and experience to be able to articulate the principles and concepts as shown in this course.
