  Henry is an absolute OG, a true master of hidden jiu jitsu. His details on every position are some of the best and incisive you’ll find. This soul stealer instructional is no exception. I love kesa frame, but a lot of schools **** on it bc, if not done well, you can lose your back. However, if your mechanics are good (and Henry delivers here in spades), it’s a rock solid position with heaps of sub options. If you want to learn scarf hold from one of the best in the instructor box, and you can only buy one instructional, this is it. (FWIW, my head coach, a three stripe BB, flies out to take privates with Henry on the regular, which should tell you something.)

• Solid, but you may have done most of this in Judo.

  This is a thorough and organized exposition of how to use the scarf hold in BJJ. However if you have done a bunch of Judo, you should know the controls and entries, and have the arm locks. The chokes I had not seen from scarf hold before, but had seen them from the mount. He does a good job translating these, too, to be used in Kesa.
