I'm an older beginner (late 40s) with a background in wrestling. When rolling I find myself regularly in a position to take cradle, and have been trying to figure out how to include it into my game. Coach recommended Neil's instructional, and it's been extremely valuable - I've already caught a couple guys with it. No doubt will pick up the rest of Neil's instructionals, and already bought his book on mastering triangles (whether my old brain will absorb it all is a different story). Wish I could learn from the man himself! But this is a second-best way to learn. Highly recommend.
I've been using this Lapel-Collar Cradle for years. High percentage Guard Passing.
Neils attention to detail is top notch. The way he gets the information across is so effective.
I have several programs from Neal, this is the one I probably refer to watch the most, amazing nuggets of catch wrestling gold in this one!
Awesome vid, used the skills in this video through out my regular training. Highly recommend
If you're not looking to collect all of Neil's instructional I don't know what you're waiting for!
Neil breaks things down on a conceptual level that makes it easy to wrap your head around techniques even if you have a Neanderthal brain like myself! A true mastermind who always thinks outside the box!
Excellent video with great insights and perspective on new topics I had no idea about before watching this content
This is a very good source of info on the subject. Neil does a great job teaching these techniques in a clear and straightforward way. A++
We’ll explained, but weird that it didn’t have a proper intro tho but was great
Great content, All of Neils videos are great. A very different approach that really appeals to guys who like to grind. Some content here that you will find no where else that really imporved my game.
Super straight forward and good fundamentals
Awesome material! It’s Neil, always good.
Clear, Concise, and to the point. Neil gives you simple instructions and explanations that are easy to understand without boring you to do death. Refreshing to watch and instructional that keeps your interest while you learn.
Neil’s instruction and detail are top notch, and this instructional is kinda of a variety pack from the other ones. This is a good introduction to Neil’s style, which while the video is called “catch,” is really a variety of disciplines mixed together as Neil himself later elaborates. Nevertheless, Neil’s approach to grappling is excellent, and shows many techniques that are unique. My only complaints about this video is that some of the same techniques are even repeated from DVD 2 to DVD 3, and that the production quality is not so high. His later instructions seem to be much better throughout in terms of organization. Still it’s worth a pick-up if you’re a Neil fan, or want an intro to his teaching.
Slightly late review but what a great purchase, I watched it on a flight and will it again before drilling and putting into practice.
A good video with Neil showing his style of CACC!
After watching the 1st DVD, I know I have made a wise purchase this is going to help my technique immeasurably, thank you, Neil, for sharing and thank you BJJ Fanatics it's been "A huge Honour for me" to learn from your instructionals.
Really great instruction that anyone can add to their game. Highly effective!

I really enjoyed the cradle material covered in this instructional. It is an effective method to deal with guard play and readily implemented into my game.
