  This is a valuable video. It has a lot of submissions and hold downs from top half guard, several cradle entries and submissions, and some shoulder pin guard stuff. They are all great things and pretty unique to Neil, but it is not a coherent system, it is an ecclectic mix of cool techniques from the positions I mentioned above. I would have liked to see some guard passes and other stuff so that you would feel like you have some catch style stuff for every position but it is still definitly worth the money.

  I love Neil's teaching style. This dvd is a collection of different techniques mainly half guard passing and d'arce and arm in guillotine chockes. There is also a huge section that goes in depth with the Williams guard. Melanson is a very efficient teacher with brings a wrestler based grappling perspective to the table. I can highly recommend this video.
