  Once on a open mat, I Tomae Nage a Blue belt & he took it badly. This Single Strap Back Take looks like another technique that will make another overconfident belt holder fish food. Sheep like to sport weapons too & Single Strap Back Take looks like an awesome weapon. You have to drill your techniques till you react with ease. Going to drill this so when I show up on open mat again only fellow white belts will want to roll with me.

  Well what can I say? It’s Bernardo Faria a 5 time world champion. For those you that don’t know, Bernardo’s learning material is first class and very easy to understand and especially ideal for the older grapplers in the game. As for Faria’s latest instructional the Single strap back take? It’s Excellent and the Single strap back take has become my favourite method for taking the back. What can I say? It works real well, like all his other material does.

  Bernardo is the reason why I set up an account on bjjf. Still to this day I am thankful for the opportunity to learn your techniques. I started bjj in 2002, but because of a career change (a long time in the military) i was less and less able to train under an instructor consistently. I have retired from service and have started studying bjj again, I have stated back as a white belt. My game has completely changed, I am the old guy you often talk about... I am forever grateful. This instructional is fantastic, a solid technique, with every eventuality covered. Five stars
