As a 52 jiujiteiro, i love the way that John Danaher provides us techniques and concepts to be effective against younger, faster and more atheletics opponents.
Starting BJJ late in life so happy I now have a system
John is so methodical and gives complete eplaination.
Ageless jujitsu is the operating system one needs to practice and enjoy jujitsu at 50 and beyond. If you want to keep rolling as an older practitioner while avoiding injury & making younger opponents scratch their heads as to why your so difficult to deal with on the mat - you probably need to explore the concepts JD presents in this treasure trove of lessons.
Great Videos
I love the principles John instills. This all makes so much sense and you can use the concepts to problem solve on your own
Great series that I learned a lot from. Professor Danaher is very detailed in his training which can make it hard for some people to stay focused. However, I find that the details are usually what make the difference in success and failure, so I very much appreciate the detailed way in which he teaches.
Cant say enough for it!
The title of this Video says it all. I recently got back into Jiu-jitsu after a couple years and this video really helped. I had a quick look through the contents and the next day I was able to apply some of the techniques which really helped me to roll a bit more confidently against larger and more athletic opponents.
One stop shopping for us older guys! Danaher spells it all out & gives a multifaceted concept based approach to succeeding on the mat in our advanced years.
I’m basically a black belt now. But for real, this is some good stuff.
Like with for all other the instructionals from John Danaher, I can only recommend this one. Even if I haven’t allready seen all of the dvd, I allready know that they contains a lot of gems. Thank you Mister Danaher.
Just get it.
If you know Danaher you can guess where a lot of this will focus but I think the refinements he offers for those of us over the hill or overweight are valuable. I would watch his further, faster series first but if you fit the template that this video is made for, this is good supplementary material for you.
Great instructional vidéo!
Danaher is the best at explaining concepts! Thank you so much
Excellent practical instruction! You will not be disappointed!
Very clear structured course that is totally focused on how to overcome the limitations of age

The detail make this easy to understand and learn
I'm a huge Danaher fan. I have watched all of his stuff. I questioned whether or not to buy this one as well, but of course, I learned new details on techniques I had already learned from his previous work. He is such an amazing instructor!
Great philosophy for older grapplers. Wonderful material. Can’t wait to see TOP GAME GI for older or less athletic. All the Ageless series (NOGI and GI) are great great stuff. Thank you master Danaher. Osss
This is incredible. Simple, effective, realistic BJJ for the older or less athletic practitioner. This is the best instructional yet by Mr. Danaher.
