Great content, great master
Great Instructional!
Mr. Danaher has Amazing technical breakdown. I can’t wait for the gi set to come out.
Are you old, weak and useless like me? Then is is for you. So much content that if you can't remember it all you can always hit them with it. Forget using your winter heating payment for fuel buy this instead and you will be hot on the mats all year.
Sensei Danaher knocks it out of the park with this one - again! Thoughtful, thorough, and easy to follow. If you're even thinking about getting this, do it. I'm a 4th degree bb and now in my early 60's (still rolling :-) ). Started training BJJ very late, when I was 36, in 1996. I even trained for a few short years as a blue belt at Renzo's in NYC along side Professor Danaher (when he was also a blue belt and then had earned his purple). Not just talking sh*t here, but there was something special about him even way back then. He was analyzing and breaking things down for his fellow students like no one I'd seen before - or since - and between him and Renzo I learned A LOT there. Not just how to execute techniques, but how to "think". John's the man and we, the BJJ community, owe him an enormous debt for all he has done for our beloved martial art.
Awesome!
As someone starting BJJ late in life (in my 40s), I find hope in this video! I have to watch it a few times and I love every moment of this. Instructions were clear. Big fan of John Danaher!
I really enjoyed the broader "bottom" game plan. There was a bit of this and that included various ways to enter halfguard and even chokes from front headlocks. I felt this had a slightly faster feel and a cleaner approach with a bit less repetitive compared to some of his other instructionals. My bottom game has improved and these are moves I could easily do as I age.
Great
This provides a clear, systematic approach to the bottom position both in terms of tactics and strategy for older practitioners. I'm looking forward to the next installment.
If you are someone who is slightly less agile/mobile due to age, or injury... This instructional is for you!
Awesome
Great addition to my collection. Gave me some great things to add to techniques that I’ve been using a while.
I’m 57 years young. There is nothing on this video I can’t pull off when I roll. This man explains things really well. Very helpful.
Great video!
John Danaher does it again with this instructional. It provides the student with a game plan tailored to those older or perhaps less athletic. You will find that the techniques and strategies found here will help you remain competitive on the mats by giving you a style of Jiujitsu that ages well. If you are looking for help keeping up with athleticism, scoop this series up!
As always…..Danaher gives you details and strategies. Love it.
Great instructional vidéo!
Excellent information with outstanding instruction. Exactly the information needed for the older or less physically capable practitioner
Thank you from all of us who will get old
The best No Gi instructional older/less athletic practitioners. Professor Danaher does not compromise the fundamentals concepts with tricks or special moves. He has logically and systematically cherry picked they best options from his vast domain of knowledge and applied to less athletic/older practitioners. (In my case, both.) He answers the "Why" questions regarding the concepts/techniques and demonstrates the "How?" The fundamentals definitely transfer to GI, but this is No Gi specific.
