It was an excellent fundamental review of how to maintain, get to, and finish from the back. He is incredibly thorough and knowledgeable.
great
Practical and well laid out
Very detailed and comprehensive
Was able to apply these instructions immediately in live training!
This instructional has the clearest sense of direction on what to do when attacking someone from the back. John breaks down how to approach finishing, especially with strangles, in the most systematic way possible, which is very easy for someone like me who over analyzes things to understand. If someone is looking for a rock solid submission game, start here.
The best information I have found on the subject from possibly the best coach in the world.
John has an amazing way of teaching, he makes complicated movements easy to understand.
Really feels like you learn how to operate on a different level after this.
This instructional lays out a fantastic foundation for controlling and submitting from the back. The instruction was clear and concise as always, it always amazing to see how Danaher is able to take such complex subjects and break them down to simple concepts.
Great resource amazing progress rate it. 10
This series demystified the back mount for me. I knew plenty of entries and how to prevent escapes, but I struggled to get finishes and I couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong. This series taught me the metagame of the back mount, how to maintain control, how to eliminate an opponent’s defenses, and then how to put someone asleep. I pick up lots of good details or new approaches, but I added this series to my game and it quickly improved my back mount.
Everyone needs to watch
Besides being a few years old it is stll a great reference book for everything regarding Back Control and the first instructional to introduce the straight jacket system
Danaher is second to none with his incredibly comprehensive and well laid out instructionals.
This instructional should be the foundation of anyone learning to attack the back. No other back instructional covers a highly effective game that pretty much fits all body types.
Doesn't get more comprehensive than this. Absolutely outstanding stuff. This has helped my back attack game by so much.
This is the cheat code to attacking just like Gordon Ryan! Great detailed instructions that anyone can follow and get immediate results .
I seem to only buy videos from John Danaher. He just plain knows how to teach.
Most comprehensive back attack tutorial I have yet seen
I used to struggle with back control, now it one of my favorite finishing positions
Danaher shows just why and how he is the greatest jiu-jitsu coach of our time (all time?) in this and every instructional. If you want to know every nuance to attack the back, maintain control, and learn his straight-jacket system, do yourself a favor and purchase this instructional.
I haven't seen such a well thought out system of attacking the back. Danaher's straight jacket system is the only way to go!
This has been a great addition to my game. I had an initial understanding of some of these concepts but this instructional really goes deep!
Looking to tighten up your back control and finishes? Look no further than this work of art, brought to you by the maestro himself John Danaher.
