This was the first Danaher vid I watched, and I was hooked. Great attention to detail and explanation on how to integrate it into the larger game. After this video, you'll be confident anytime you get a "figure of four" grip.
Danaher leaves nothing out. He breaks down the kimura from first principles like an analytical philosopher. If you enjoyed philosophy classes in college, you will love this video. It is great, no doubt, but you have to be in the mood to get through all 8 volumes. I have only ever managed to get through 3 or 4.
Improved my understanding 10x as a white belt with one year experience
John Danaher does it again. John's ability to break down a video that is digestible is impeccable. John's videos are a must see. My BJJ is still trash, but he definitely helps me trend in the right direction.
I knew the Kimura before this instructional. After that, however, I looked at the Kimura with completely different eyes!
Wasn’t really hitting kimuras on anyone till I saw this
Didn't realise there could be so much to learn about 1 submission. Danaher is fascinating as always.
Kimuras have always been a weak point for me, and the ETS kimura series helped fill the gaps for me. Every rewatch I pick up some extra detail that I missed earlier. Highly recommended.
Fantastic content and attention to detail!
Very clear instruction, and application
John Danaher does a really good job giving you excellent breadth and depth on what is the Kimura. As he demonstrates, not just a simple submission, but is also as complex and technical as any other submission and full of entry points. He does a great job in this instructional not only talking about the theory of a good kimura submission, but also shows several techniques demonstrating the value of entering the kimura system!
I knew absolutely nothing and I was able to follow.
I've watched almost all of the instructional. Helped my kimura game a lot.
I enjoyed this instructional as it starts off with broad concepts and then shows application to specific techniques.
Really great!!!
Has to be the most impactful tutorial on my game since i began BJJ
Fabulous instructions! No regret to buying! 3 Gold itself!
Very comprehensible and technical guide to kimura concepts
I learned a lot from this instructional. Very helpful ! My kimura attacks has been deadly now a days
Changed the whole way I play kimuras. Some of my favorite concepts were power line, bringing the elbow to the shoulder line, focus on pulling to finish, hand behind the back and the variety of different kimuras. Another great video from Danaher.
I've been working Kimuras into my game and this instructional has helped me quite a bit with my success at finishing them. I've even started using some variations that I didn't know existed at the time until watching this. I would recommend this to anyone.
Super in-depth instructional.
This is a comprehensive and detailed instructional that provided me with tools to keep progressing towards the Kimura that have gotten me stuck in the past.
Another video that did wonders for my game.
Fantastic instructional. Kimuras are now easier to find and more efficient to finish.
