I love how Danaher explains his leglock system, so detailed, easy to comprehend, so many gems.
Great introduction to the Leg Lock game. For someone who didn't know anything, this is an eyeopening instructional. As always, John explains everything in the best way.
Top notch instruction. Thanks JD!
Danaher is a bit long winded but worth watching all the same. As a former wrestler this is the part of BJJ most foreign to me. I am still not good at leg lock but it’s a good resource to improve.
I've always been a fan of leglocks but this will bring your understanding to whole new levels. It's a whole system, not just individual moves.
I love how John explains clearly the sytem. He teaches you to see the system as a whole, so when you are watching others and when in a roll you know what your goal is overall and how to get there. Not just a set of instructions, like many other vids ive been watching.
Lives up to it’s reputation. No more will I ignore 50% of the human body. The cross ashi-system has worked great so far.
John Danaher is my favorite instructor and this is one of my favorite instructional from John or anyone ever. Makes the complexities of high-level leglocking understandable and applicable in both a conceptual and practical way. A must have resource in any martial artists library in my opinion!
After that Instructional all black belts at the gym are hate me . Thanks John !!!
Thanks John Danaher for his amazing wisdom thanks to him I had greatly improved !
As always, the master delivers and articulates movements like no other. John Danaher's real gift is his eye for detail and his ability to make the complex relatable. Above all, you learn the "why" to a technique, allowing you to defend it or transfer it to another situation. Excellent!
Extremely valuable instruction you can immediately implement.
I don’t use heel hooks usually, but this instructional has me excited to use ashi garami’s to sweep or simply transition from DLR to X and back. Also watching DDS matches is way cooler if you can see what their objectives are. So that’s an unexpected treat.
This is the DVD that started me on a brand new journey of discovery in my jiu jitsu! Without it I would not be the practitioner I am today.
I think there are better jump off points for leg locks. Craig Jone's Down Under Leg Locks for example. But this is still a great set with tons of great information, especially on the saddle/inside sankaku/honey hole position.
Outstanding
Great instructional. Gives as much information as I had hoped it would. Would highly recommend.
