This instructional is a GAME CHANGER. Danaher’s breakdowns are incredibly detailed and easy to follow. The way he explains the mechanics and positioning is pure magic. I've been drilling this in my training and I've already seen major improvements in my jiu-jitsu game. If you're serious about improving your submissions, you NEED to check this out
The master the move series are brilliant, this is no exception, very good indeed
John Danaher´s teaching is amazing. All the attention to details makes it extremely easy to understand the core concepts and how to put it in action. For me, the shoulder crunch techniques presented to be absolutely efficient even having bad flexibility and mobility and also a torn ACL. It has been helping me against younger and bigger training partners and helped me opening a vast attacks opportunities instead of relying only in a deffensive guard.
Very detail solution
One of my favorite attacks. Great instructional with a lot of detail.
John gave really good details I always missed before seeing this.
Using this move has helped me improve my bottom game tremendously. I’d highly recommend it!
Impactful addition to my no gi guard game. Opened cool new pathways.
Great teacher. Very insightful. Love applying these systems to my rolls.
I've had pretty good success with the shoulder crunch but wanted to get some detailed instruction and John delivered. I'm looking forward to putting these techniques into practice. Thank you.
Good, JD always is very detailed.
Fundamental details essential for a successful shoulder crunch system.
Another detail-rich masterwork by John Danaher.
If you know what you are buying you should be happy. It's John Danaher, so watch at 1.5 or 2.0 speed instead of normal. The info is pragmatic and immediately implementable. If you practice with a partner or at least a grappling smarty, your game will definitely improve.
Great material
This is my first Danaher instructional and I'm very impressed. He covers all the bases, and breaks things down in easy to understand steps. He also describes WHY we do things, which I think will help me to remember things when it counts.
Danaher does a comprehensive coverage of the shoulder crunch position. Multiple counters or "what-ifs" are covered. I particularly like the use of three demonstrators: Danaher, Placido and Reese. The move is demonstrated by different ages and body types. I particularly appreciated the full resistance demonstration between Reese and Placido. It gave me confidence to see two competitive athletes proving the effectiveness of the position.
JD Always delivers. Very happy with this format instructions.

I have observed the shoulder crunch Sumi Gaeshi for years and thought I understood the move. I was very wrong and am grateful for the knowledge.
