Really great and streamlined system to build one's stand-up game from scratch. Highly recommended for those who wan't to understand why's behind the wrestling techniques and do not have much experience with takedowns.
Systematic
hervorragend Technik und Beschreibungen
Good stuff!!
technisch exzellent und auf das Wichtigste heruntergebrochen
Love the tips on first engagement the opponent. Super helpful for guys that aren't young and athletic.
Very realistic and well structured approach to build one's takedown game from scratch, especially for those without any wrestling or judo experience.
In depth and long, but focused at the same time. Improved my takedown game.
Love it!
No-Gi Takedowns were the absolute worst part of my game. I left a gym with a heavy hi emphasis after a move to a no-gi only gym (the only one for hours). This instructional helped me to understand my goals and tie ups to actually become proficient in basic takedowns.
You're never pulling guard after watching this
The best way to learn the standing game fast.
Excellent no gi instructional for anyone learning standing position from white to black belt! This is Danaher's version of the simplest complete system for standing. Simple but deadly effective!
game changer
As advertised. Goes over effective takedowns that are easy enough to learn, and relatively low risk. Does a good job connecting takedowns, like transitioning from a single leg to getting an underhook and doing takedowns via that underhook.
This has taken my nonexistent standup game and given me at least a few options. Great for beginners to wrestling/BJJ standup
This is the type of coaching I’ve been searching for. I don’t have a wrestling background so I’ve always known I was missing a lot of basic concepts. This video helped me catch up to speed pretty quickly
One of the best insturctionals.
Danaher has done it again. I'm so happy at the ever-increasing quality of his instructionals. It is so well organized, well explained, and easy to understand. I am also thrilled about the level of depth regarding simple, fundamental moves. Worth every penny (that I bought for half-price anyway)!
If you don't know how to wrestle this is the video for you. John does a great Job at explaining the concepts that are important to wrestling. I'm about halfway through, and it's a video that provides great detail into various ways to execute a high single leg and some other great takedown strategies. I'd highly recommend it.
Great overview of how to think about the stand-up side of BJJ
This is the best takedown instructional ever. It's a compact summary of all the takedown instructional that Professor Danaher has released so far. You should get it.
This is exactly as advertised. No fluff, just concepts that will help you make significant progress in a short amount of time with adequate practice and application of the concepts taught here
