I’ve got several instructional from Lachlan Giles and I consider him to be a genius teacher and one of the best on BJJ Fanatics (believe me I have a quite a few instructional from various fighters!). He is engaging with fantastic attention to detail. I can’t recommend this enough if you often get caught in half guard or want to improve from their position.
Lachlan's teaching style is one of the best out there.
Lachlan is by far one of the best instructors putting out content on BJJ Fanatics. I love all of his content and this half guard series is excellent.
Lachlan breaks it down in a very digestible format.
Awesome
Lachlan is up there with the best teachers in jiu-jitsu. We all end up in half guard at some point, after a scramble, an escape, a pass attempt, so it's good to be dangerous if you find yourself there. Can't recommend this series enough.
Overall, the video does a good job explaining the concepts.
great half guard run through!
This has been the best series on HG that I always go back to. It definitely helped me feel relatively competent in HG at my level. Definitely recommend.
Tons of content. Great instruction. This is an instructional that I refer back to often. Tons of good details.
Lachlan Giles really makes his content approachable, and easy to follow. Packed with information, and great value.
The half guard encyclopedia!
A ridiculous amount of content in this DVD. It has a alot of rewatchabiltiy for all aspects of bottom half
Great, in depth, guide on half guard.
Actually, there are many superstars in Nogi. surely, this man is also one of them. Before watching this video, I was not interested in No gi. I felt no gi is so boring. However, for this video I could be no gi person. My kimonos are in trash can now. Because I do not gi anymore.
New to jiu jitsu and new to bjj fanatics. This was the first deal of the day that caught my attention although I did not know of Professor Guiles (please don't judge me lol). As a student, the information is broken down precisely as needed for one to understand what is transpiring in the roll and more importantly why. I'm far late to the sport but beyond excited to learn more through such Professors and platforms. Highly recommended this training curriculum.
Very informative and full of options to go from
Very good instructional. Very well organized allowing quick reference and use when troubleshooting your half guard game. Other coaches may have very high quality content but no one else communicates as well.
Probably my favorite video from Lachlan. They are all solid but this shows so many cool sweeps and some strong foundational concepts.
Absolutely phenomenal instruction, addresses, almost if not all significant variations of the half guard with exceptional detail. The gold standard for half guard instructionals
Lachlan is the best. The way he teaches is second to none.
Lachlan provides great content at an affordable price. Half guard is a position I always find myself in and my game is steadily improving from there thanks to Giles.
Well structured and easy to follow.
Very helpful instruction complimented by footage of live rolling.
so much info. absolute bargain of a deal! great work Lachlan.
