• The Best Half-Guard Instructional I Have Seen!

  Lachlan Giles offers up one of the best Half-Guard instructionals money can buy! There is so much content in this instructional that you will be finding something new and different to apply in training for a very long time! It's changed the way I use and view my own Half-Guard and I haven't got passed part 3 of the instructional yet! The troubleshooting section is an excellent addition and so is the live training footage! I would recommend this instructional to all BJJ practioners at all skill levels! It is excellent!

  The details are amazing, and his style is outstanding. Thorough with great attention to detail. I like how he strings techniques together, covers mistakes people make on certain moves and he doesn’t repeat himself. The narrated rolls are gold and all things half guard related are covered.   Lachlan Giles' is a phenomenal coach to learn from. His explanations are clear and concise, while being incredibly detailed. Having done a drop in session at Absolute, and testing my own half guard game against his students, it was clear they all have a great understanding of the position as well. Cannot recommend Lachlan's stuff enough.

• The format every instructional should follow

  Lachlans style of instructional should be the new benchmark. This is not like any other instructional ive seen - the format with troubleshooting details and live rolling breakdowns of every techniques is genius. So much work has gone into this, and for the same cost as instructionals with a fraction of the content and no live rolling... Every scenario is in here. Can't recommend it enough if you're into half guard.

  Lachie is in top form, as usual. His instruction is always great, and I've found the way the DVD is structured with the detailed index for different positions/techniques lets you basically use it as in encyclopedia, which I found really helpful. The narrated rolls are gold as well. If you're like me and you've dabbled in half guard and want to dive deep, this a great resource.

  Lachlan Giles is a intelligent and thoughtful grappler. That being said, I don't think there is a avenue left unexplored in his half guard anthology. Buy it!
