Good info
If you know Mike you’ll know he knows his stuff
Great stuff
Makes it really simple to weight train specifically for jiu jitsu. Covers all bases including nutrition and recovery. definitely worth the money.
Very useful
Great guide. I’m a 38-year-old blue belt. I do bjj three times a week and judo twice a week. This guide helped me figure out how to integrate weightlifting into that schedule in a sustainable way that doesn’t make you too sore to grapple
Great Stuff
Great information, no BS, no overcomplication. Would love a longer and more detailed instructional about programming!
Strength is never a weakness

Weight Training for Grappling by Michael Israetel
Lifting and nutrition for grappling. Schedule, recovery, core movement
Decent knowledge
Decent knowledge that is definitely useful. Professionalism, concision start to fall off as the vulgarities increase over time. If you can sift through the F-bombs, then there is some good knowledge in here.
Not what I had hoped for
The video was pretty generic with the advice given. Would have liked to see a bit more variety and more specifics on proper lifting techniques and injury prevention tips. It does give decent general info if you have zero lifting experience though. Although the best information was from the youtube videos that he recommends you visit, not on this actual video.
Amazing course
Been traning MMA/No-Gi seriously since january and have used this program since then. I'm bigger and stronger (been tracking weights and reps using an app and I'm substantially stronger). The 2x a week sample program works really well with my schedule. I've quit BJJ before because I felt it took to much time from the gym but I now love MMA/No-Gi and feel like I'm making real progress in the gym too, so it's solved my problem. Strongly recommend it if you're interested in combining BJJ with bodybuilding. Will also teach you the fundamentals of weight traning/bodybuilding, such as how to progressively overload, deloading, and so on. Really good course and only 90 minutes!
Good Theory
He lays out all you need to know for training with weights in addition to your bjj.
