Superb great for the old boys!
Really appreciate this deep dive into making and retaining connection
A lot of content in this, so not something you can watch and immediately try out but great details and insights. Particularly like the transisitions from cross colllar and loop chokes. Not many attacking techniques but it is aimed as 'less athletic' people so focus is on a few chokes from bottom and lots of sweeeps to get back on top
great
excellent tutorial/system for older players
This video was a must have for anybody over 50 participating in BJJ
guard retention
amazing insite from the master of Professors
Its great!
Gives you concepts to keep in mind against those athletic, aggressive players
Danaher is once again the best at what he does!
Typical high quality GI instructional by John Danaher, teaching effective techniques with an overriding strategy. The techniques are taught with the necessary detail (e.g. the how and why) to ensure that they will work for you. With so many BJJ techniques available this instructional should assist you to focus your attention on the ones that will make your game better and more enjoyable from the bottom, particularly if you are an older or perhaps a less athletic BJJ student. It is worth noting that John Danaher has tons of credibility and importantly also fits the target market for this product (e.g. mid-fifties with a hip replacement). The instructional has a total runtime of 9 hours and 35 minutes. The video quality is typical of what is filmed at the BJJ Fanatics studio (i.e. fixed camera) and is consistent with the preview (volume 8 chapter 3 – Scissor sweep with Hiza Guruma on standing opponent) and the trailer. The other aspect that I liked for such a long instructional was that there was good rapport between the John Danaher and his ukes, which made it easier to watch.
John Donaher is a legendary coach. His instructional is very detailed and easy to understand. I enjoyed watching and learning from this video.
Love Dananher. His Ageless Jiu Jitsu videos have really improved my game and given me so much confidence utilizing the tools I have.
This videos instructional is priceless. The knowledges that includes in this "Bottom game no Gi" Ageless Jiujutsu: Winning When You're Older or less atheletic are absolutely very valuables. I would love to buy every instructionals videos from John Danaher, only if I have that kind of money. The reason why I said that because the video is presenting quality over quantity. At the end, for me this is more like JohnDanaherFanatic morethan BJJ fanatics.
Phenomenal concepts that have helped a lot keeping up with the athletic freaks.
I am over 50 and recently started bjj. This provided me with stategies for working against all the other students in their 20 s.
awesome videos
Excellent instructional, exactly what I needed.
Love it
Complements the half guard series well, though there's some overlap
Provides a systematic approach to rolling with younger training partners and emerging victorious
The beauty of Danaher's instructional videos is the small details that make all the difference. This has markedly improved my game rolling with younger and bigger guys.
