Perfect for a blue belt looking to take passing game to another level. Great insight and full explanation of his full system.
This is a cheatcode to Bjj. I really like priciples before technic
I'm really enjoying how is he showing the "camping" method in a simple manner, then adding great details as he adds how to connect it with north/south passing and even into a leg drag. Adds a lot of excellent versatility to the camping system.
I have all of Nicholas videos exept the half guard which I will have to buy in the future. This one is one of the most exciting guard passing videos I have ever seen. Like Nicholas says in the video, simple and clear. No BS, nothing flashy, just creating preassure on your oponent all the time to make them feel stuck. I have used the techniques with great success at my gym. People talk alot about Nicholas english but I think it’s just fine. He sometimes stumbles for words but that only adds to the charm. This have been one of the most viewed videos in my library, I say just buy!!
Highly recommend every part of this video
I’m starting getting familiar with Meregali’s teaching style. I like it and i believe it’s great under a didactic perspective.
As expected great details on guard passing
amazing
In this particular instructional, Nicholas goes over some key concepts and techniques on outside passing and toreando. He knows the current meta like no one else and this is definitely a must have for anyone wanting to be up to date with the latest trends in guard passing.
Amazing concepts in addition to scenarios discussed
Meregali does well despite English not being his first language.
easy to follow good instructions
This instructional has truly change my pass game, i´ve been working in a simple and more effective way. Thanks master Meregali.
Meregali's concepts on top pressure and outside passing have been an instant boost to my game. In particular, the concepts he uses to explain how to use your body and grips to generate pressure from the top and where, specifically, to aim or place that top pressure have been a huge help. I've gone from just "trying to be heavy on top" to understanding how to actually be heavy and where to put that weight to stifle my opponents game. Super useful, can't recommend it enough!!
After learning Meregali's top pressure game blueprint, my passing and controlling has gone up exponentially. My training partners have noticed how "sticky" I've become, and a training partner known as "the concrete blanket" even complimented me on my top pressure. Super useful for medium size guys like me, to compete against larger opponents. 5 stars!
I have been studying Meregali’s technique for over a year now and have had phenomenal results. He is very good at breaking down each move into bite sized parts. This attention to detail and solid teaching methods have directly translated to improvements in my top pressure, maintaining guard, sweeps, and a far wider range of attacks. I no longer feel vulnerable in dangerous situations as I can rely on his technical details! I cannot recommend his instructionals more.
I used these techniques on my friend today and he complained after the round about how heavy I felt on him. NICHOLAS MEREGALI is the best gi fighter in the world!
The pressure generated from the top using the proper head position, proper right hand grip, and proper foot work along with the proper left hand grip makes a day and night difference, talk about cooking your opponent/training partner you can really **** the energy out of them, and then the pass is there either side depending on what your opponent does don’t even have to force it it’s naturally there… it makes sense to why when he competes he makes it look so easy… or how he says is simple and clean :fire::fire:
This instructional is a complete game-changer. The details and adjustments make a huge difference and make me so much successful even with bigger/stronger opponents. Well worth it and then some!!
Great instructional with very valuable content, explained in a clear and easy to understand way. Adding in these loose passes has made my game so much better!
I definitely am a traditional pressure passer, but always found myself not cooking the guy efficiently. THIS STUFF makes me feel 10x more stable and heavy. Heavy not fat!
Meregali doesn't dissppoint
