Great video. Good breakdown of the concepts. He teaches what he does and does what he teaches. Not sure about the Uke though. Should trim his beard.
I started learning from Nicholas when I was already a purple belt. I wish I had started sooner as a lower belt. He has helped my game tremendously. He has shown me things that I was doing wrong. His set ups and techniques are literally world class. There’s no one on the planet better to learn jiu jitsu in the gi from.
Really great to learn open guard attacks from the front. This instructional fills in the holes in my open guard game, and now if my guard is broken, I have a series to reply upon in the open guard to sweep or get right back into full guard. 5 stars ⭐️
Meregali is light years ahead of everyone else and truly making the Gi great again. You can’t miss with this dvd
Nicholas is an excellent instructor, providing incredibly practical, highly effective technical details that can improve anyone's jiu-jitsu game. In this series he gives a solid formula for establishing great control that is low energy, high success to initiate offensive jiu-jitsu attacks. By far the best instructional to convey the significance of grips and their contributing force to quick, decisive finishes. If you struggle with collar chokes, setting up triangles, or using armbars as more than a threat, you need to invest in this series. Make it easy for you and difficult for your opponent.
Nicholas has an ability to teach practical, battle-tested concepts in an easy-to-understand and -execute way. Learn from the highest-level gi player in the game.

Definitely one of the most useful Gi instructionals I've come across and very applicable at all skill levels!

Professor Meregali goes over so many great yet simple details to help you successfully execute each technique. My game has exploded. I am so much more dominant and I’m a 130 pound female! Haha. You are really missing out if you don’t get this instructional.
The details in the video are the best. The positions covered help develops great foundation and it feels like you are in class with Professor Meregali!
I loved learning Meregali’s attack details and working them into my game. When executed in this level of detail it’s like killing your opponent softly, quietly and efficiently… Assassin style!
This instructional was 100% critical in improving my gi game. Thanks Nicholas for putting so much time and energy into this for the BJJ community.
Nick’s attacks from the front are unique to his game and style. Once you start to grasp his way of thinking it will change your game too. Highly recommended, he is an inspired teacher.
Professor Meregali has an amazing ability to show you the finer details through his teaching that will elevate your game to the next level. His instruction is easy to understand yet effective when applied in your training sessions. He is thorough with explaining concepts and application and his techniques are proven at the highest levels of competition. Definitely a must to improve and learn.
Meregali keeps it simple and effective, what he shows here is what he uses in his competition fights, why make things complicated when you can just do things the right with proper grips and body positioning from the start, I’ve been stopping people from passing my guard and staying under their hips for the entire round.
Really well organized series. Builds the game from basics, to skills, to drills, to specific attacks. So much better than a series of disconnected techniques with no explanation of how build the techniques into a system or use them together. If you want to improve this part of your game, I think this series hits the nail on the head!
These lessons have helped me keep up with a young bloods on the mats and stay in dominant positions. I was losing attack opportunities until I watched this series. There are so many details I added to my triangle game and the control is insane! Now I am hydrated and ready for action
Meregali he was nice to see a video of my favorite Jiu Jitsu fighter lecture It was fantastic to see the detail that penetrated Meregali's unique whole technique
Meregali touches on some principles to help each position be successful. He explains each position clearly to help make it be effective.
