The overall set up and layout of this lifting instructional was great as each of the segments was filled with great content. It covered varied aspects pertaining to strength & conditioning with kettlebells that can be applied at any level. Worth the purchase.
Awesome!
Great series of core movements and concept for fundamental KB exercises
I wanted a instructional on the kettlebells and dont like to dive into the youtube-oceans. this is direct and teach you foundations. Ill return to this when someone wants me to pay a fancy gym membership!
This has really translated over to bjj
Wanted to give kettlebells a try and this course was definitely a good purchase. Some exercises were already incorporated after every BJJ session, so I highly recommend it!
For those who know Pavel already, this fight-specific program confirms the very high level of his approach and the content he conveys.
Such a simple and complex way of developing the body. Enables you to train longer and harder, while focusing more on technique.
it really improved my grappling game
Good content from the original kettlebell instructor. Added these to my Mike Mahler collection for a wide variety of training options.
Very detailed and thorough - really nails technical aspect of kettlebell training
Loved it! I have used kettlebells for a while and the video corrected me on a few things and drove home certain aspects to focus on and certain aspects (shoulder exercises) to not push to far due to overuse due to already rigorous BJJ workouts.
Very practical efficient training advice for grapplers.
Pavel is my go to source for all my kettlebell training. And this program is a great product for the price. Its easy to follow and as always with pavels /strongfirst programming it is simple but not easy. For me that is very important, i dont have to learn 20 different excercises. Just a few and then you are god to go. Try it and feel your body getting stronger and better conditioned all done with just a kettlebell.
This is a great video for anyone looking to learns the fundamentals of kettlebell movements. I highly recommend watching to avoid injury if your new to kettlebells… very informative.
Good stuff.
As an avid kettlebeller, I really liked this video. It breaks down the basics and mechanics better than anything else I've seen on kettlebells. I'll have to watch it again just to absorb it all. For anyone that's into kettlebells, this is a must buy.
The video quality and production value is excellent. The techniques are displayed in a digestible way which allow you to focus on quality of reps over quantity, and the programming is simple enough to follow for beginners to kettlebells.
Great instructional!
I've been following StrongFirst principles and Simple and Sinister since I started training. Once I reached the simple weights, my training partners started taking notice. If you have an interest in kettlebells and how they can improve your grappling look no further. The first program is similar to S&S, but the rep schemes are curtailed towards grapplers. We already take abuse on the mats, why **** yourself in the weight room? This is intelligent programming that doesn't get in the way of your sport.
Excellent instruction!
Amazing !! Very well explained and crafted for the grappler who wants to increase both his strenght and conditioning.
Great video! Pavel breaks down everything perfectly. I’m already seeing good results in just a few weeks.
This stuff really works. "It does exactly what it says on the tin" as the advert goes. I've been training StrongFirst's Simple & Sinister for last couple of years and am definitely stronger and quicker to recover. These videos have added depth to my understanding and given me confidence to push for further development. The variety of programme options gives variety and opportunity to cycle for those who may not click with the honourable simplicity of S&S.
If you are totally new to kettlebells, those videos are simply top quality, with a very structured approach and a complete package : breathing, mobility drills, progression to learn safely and effectively the needed exercises. If you are not (like me, as an instructor who has participated in many certifications), it is still full of many important details. The breathing part might be the piece you were missing to fully develop powerful swings, over and over again in a single session. Or the way to integrate the right mobility drill at the right moment. Some people have asked if it was only for BJJ practitionners. Well, for sure, it is excellent for BJJ, as it will make you stronger, more powerful and endurant WHILE NOT stealing time and energy from the mat. But the programming is also excellent for anyone who has a busy life and for whom recovery is a concern. At 45, I am still young, but I need to pay more attention to recovery. These programs are simply perfect for me, as it will allow me to continue to train, get stronger, without being overly time-consuming and while leaving me plenty of energy for my life. Yep, I wrote programS, plural, because it is a full package, from beginner to advanced. I know that my training is taken care of for the next 6 months !
