Former wrestler/entry level grappler here. I’m a young dad and would love to shell out cash to go to seminars or even a local SFG but time and money are always a factor. I honestly hadn’t considered buying this before i saw a sale but now I would pay $100 for it. Basically updated and compiled materials from pavel targeted towards the growing mma market. Been training hard style for about a year now and it is a huge difference than just using bells. Smart sustainable technique and programming from the masters!
Being both a BJJ player and a strong believer in Pavel's strength teaching, getting this course was a no brainer and I don't regret it. While there is a lot of overlap with other programs that Pavel has put together in the past, the techniques are more refined and the programming is based on newer principles. There is also a lot of things in the videos that I have no found elsewhere such as the breathing techniques and the stretches. Definitely a good program to follow, and I'm glad I added it to my collection.
Excellent compilation of everything you wanted to know about kettlebells but forgot to ask or just forgot about over the years. With Pavel doing the explaining and two high level instructors demonstrating the techniques, what more can you ask for? This is like reducing a dozen courses or personal sessions with an SFG II into one excellent SparkNotes compilation. Well worth it for beginners as well as a great review for advance practioners.
The Simple & Sinister and breathing segments of the program are worth their weight in gold alone. I've been practicing those and other Pavel programming for several years and, at nearly 70 years old, my strength, fitness and ability to perform the sports I enjoy -- downhill and cross-country skiing, mountain and road biking, hiking and ping-pong -- continues to improve. Add in the more advanced BJJ focused elements and you have a recipe for long-term strength, fitness, and performance.
