Pavel delivers a practical and concise training methodology for grapplers and martial artists alike! Simple, practical and extremely functional... I would expect nothing less from Pavel. Highly recommended!
Great workout system
Love this video
Great demonstrations and detailed explanations of the main kettlebell moves. The pdf contains a great minimalist kettlebell program that can give you several years of training (especially if paired with something like Mind the Gap). That being said, it might not be ideal if you don't have any kettlebell experience or if you like a lot of variety in your training.
Solid explanation of the basic kettlebell moves and a good minimalist training program
I am always looking for new interesting ways of staying fit
It helped me hugely with my shoulder problems and to develop more overal body stability!
Pavel gets into the weeds of how to and why. This is mostly geared towards grappling. Tremendous work and easy to follow (not saying doing), plus that breathing patterns is an unexpected start.
This is a great instructional and perfect for learning the basics of Kettlebell Training. Very Detailed and well structured. I used it to get started in KB Training about 3 years ago. I still go back sometimes to check up on my technique. Pavel is a master of the Sport/Art of Kettlebell Training
Come for the technique how-tos, but stay for the programming outlined in the PDF.
very good for sports specific training
Great way to learn kettlebell techniques
I really enjoyed this video, and have used many of the concepts for years now. When I first purchased, this system became my only source of strength training. However, after 6 months of grappling and using kettlebells, my wrists and especially my elbows were shot. I’m sure there are plenty of folks whose bodies don’t break down as easily as mine, but for us hyper mobile, breakable people, this was tough.
Really helpful!
Pavel is a true legend. This teaches a simple KB system to incorporate with BJJ. Everything here translates extremely well to grappling. I have never been sore from these workouts which is a great thing, as I can do these every day and still go to BJJ practice, which doesn't happen with other programs I've tried.
I love the Kettlebell as a strength tool and I'm grateful for this instructional specifically for grappling.
Very good. Was hoping there would be some more cardio workouts too
Kb training is great! Awesome to be able to learn from the best!
Had enough of the bodybuilding S*** because it wasn't helping with my martial arts ,so got on this kettlebell strong first program and I'm feeling Explosive Baby!!!
Great video. Very helpful. Clear and didactic.
Pavel usually charges insane prices from instructionals through strongfirst. I’m a very big fan of his work. The price and instruction you get here along with a the plan is a fantastic value. A must have.
A great overview of fundamental kettlebell movements, and how to develop functional strength with limited equipment.
Pavel is a master of condensing a tremendous amount of technical information into concise, actionable segments. As an older grappler with lots of nagging injuries, I've seen tremendous improvement in my own athletic abilties as a result of following the StrongFirst methodologies, with high carry-over to to grappling and all-around longevity. I highly recommend this video, as well as his more recent books, and content from guys Like Brett Jones and the other StrongFirst instructors.
This was good to see I have Pavel KB course on line but its not geared toward bjj. I liked seeing how the plan is laid out and guidance on the work out plan was awesome!
So helpful for understanding functional mobility and strength generated from "hips n grips"
