Perfect for anyone looking to increase their strength specifically for BJJ.
Here you find decades of Pavel's experience and research distilled in a program that will give you high level of strength and conditioning, while leaving you the energy you need to train BJJ. This is a better version of Simple and Sinister
Pavel delivers once again. A workout does not need to be complex to deliver tangible benefits. I find kettlebell workouts to be the perfect compliment to jiu jitsu. Swings and get-ups are all you need to keep your body in tip-top shape and prevent imbalance-based injuries.
The biggest difference I have noticed is I no longer gasp for air after a roll or feel banged up. Off the mat I ran my PARE in a good time and good vitals afterwards. JC
I've started to practice kettlebell with this instructionnal and it had helped me a lot to prevent injuries.
Really useful if you want to find effective and simple strength and conditioning program.
This is a great resource for anyone learning fitness utilizing kettlebells.
A great explanation of the various exercises and I love Pavel's training philosophy. A+A is a game changer!
This is my latest purchase and it have proven to be the best one. Following the tenet set by Karl Gotch, "Conditioning is your best hold", this intro to Kettlebell program by Pavel Tsatsouline is a gateway to strength building without the fuss. Striped down to the bare essential, this is going to be my go to program from now on.
I always heard of Pavel and have his book Enter the Kettlebell and Releax into Strectch. Too me I think this is the build to have. Lean strong muscle with exercises that gets results. This helps on on the mat with your grips and motion and most of all your hips. Dig in Deep and train. It will improve your game imensely.
I've been a fan of Pavel for years, and used Simple and Sinister as my primary conditioning since it was released. This video is exceptional in that seeing the exercises performed really locks in understanding, and the new method is specifically tailored to grappling. I find it remarkable that I've been doing get-ups and swings for years in sets of 5 TGU and 10x10 swings, yet switching to copious get-ups over time and 20x5 swings has made dramatic improvements in my overall strength.
Very informative for anyone wanting to add strength on the mats with kettlebell training.

the father of the modern kettlebell training give you great advices on how to train... follow his lead and your physical condition will improve dramatically. Pavel is also really clever and created a product for alla the levels of experience. PS: the Darth Vader breath alone worth your money! your resting won't be the same
The exercises are simple to execute for beginners and the included download recommends weekly routines. great place to start for beginners and advanced students alike!
Comme toujours avec Pavel & StrongFirst, le contenu est de qualité. Pas de blabla ni de superflu, mais une méthode complète et progressive pour une préparation physique optimale et non chronophage afin d'optimaliser les performances sur le tapis. A recommander !
Nice instructional. I have read the Simple and sinister book, this video is a very good complement to show some details and focus on the correct breathing technique, as much as the correct way to train in this methodology.
I purchased the Strong First audiobook back when Pavel Tsatsouline was on the JRE. Without the visuals I felt something was missing. When BJJ Fanatics released its Kettlebell Strong First title I had to have it. The breathing I hadn’t realized was important and the demonstrations were excellent
This training program is hugely beneficial for grapplers. I don't know how I didn't discover this sooner, but I'm very grateful for this series and for the pdf booklet that comes with it. Highly recommended.
I have been reading Pavel's material for 20 years or so and put off paying for this for a while. After taking the plunge I have to say I am very happy with the material. The combination of video and reading material is good. The explanations are clear as you would expect from Pavel. The program makes sense for those of us who have other physical pursuits outside of lifting kettlebells. The programs are simple and effective. They leave you feeling stronger at the end and not worn down. My shoulders are feeling mobile and strong. The missing star is I would have liked more in the reading material, but I do appreciate that is personal preference. Overall I am very happy with the program.
Multiple programs defined and explained. Very good videos showing all exercises discussed in fine detail. Defined logical pthways for advancing through the programs. Focus is on using kettlebells to build strength i ways relevant to BJJ.
