With the learnings from this course my rolling gets much more interesting instead of just being pinned and struggling the whole time. My coach likes my improvements, but said I'm a bit too predictable in my escapes, so keep that also in mind when trying out these escapes. As a white belt I always get a sense that these escapes are superior, but e.g. escaping from a back triangle is sometimes still not possible. Having in mind that this course is not a magic potion, it is still insanely good. If you're a white belt, buy this course and save months or even years of slow progress. It is my first course I ever bought and I just realised how vital bjjfanatics is with its content for great progress in bjj.
John Danaher has a way of explaining concepts that just makes sense. There are countless a-ha moments in this instructional. It has helped me survive longer on the mats and I'm excited to continue digesting all these techniques and adding to my game
Can’t go wrong with the
This has proven to be the best set of techniques that I have learned to escape out of any position.
The info that is available in this instructional is pure gold. You need commitment especially some techniques are a bit tricky and takes time to master. I thank BJJ fanatics and Mr. Danaher for teaching me. Your student from the other side of the world.

John makes learning really easy. I have trained bit less than a year so heel hooks are in the future for me, but I am escaping from blue to brown belt people with these instructions. Could have probably finished them with heel hooks aswell.
This was my first Danaher instructional and it immediately changed the way I thought about the sport. Not only did I start to see things more systematically, I started altering myself to go from the traditional defense -> guard & instead defense -> offense. It made me an immediate threat in the gym...and an ankle hunter.
Getting pinned sucks when you have no idea how to get out. Danahers points have helped immensely. Great instructional.
simply the basis of all jiu-jitsu for sure! improve yours defense first, breake then later (as soon as possible ***). Great product by john, as always
Simply the best, by the great master john danaher. improve escaping, make the game happen.
Truly changed my game in a very quick period of time.
Great instructional
Good instructional get more out of my trainings not being stuck in side control for 5minutes
Awesome attention to detail on escape positioning, principles and counter attacks. Have picked up on details nobody has ever mentioned yet alone taught. Danaher goes over pin escapes straight into different leg attacks and other attacks. Definitely worth it!
Amazing
The starting point to make your jiu-jitsu better. On the first day I could do the kepping escape on a light opponent, even though I am still suffering with the heavy ones kkkkk. But it worked! I do NOT feel anymore fear of trying new positions or risking to get submitted because I now know how to escape. I know the best ways to get out of a pin what to focus on, where to go and how to arrive there. Even though I still get submitted a lot everyday I know where i failed. Now it's just a question of getting better at it. Professor John Danaher, simply the best ever, not only for Gordon but for jiu-jitsu. Congrats on the video!
Great video
This is my third video of the series. Love it. Instructions are clear and I personally am a fan of long and wordy examples and principles described by Danaher. I am at the level when I need to work on details and I am aware of their importance. Danaher delivers on that. He is a great teacher. Kipping escapes are fun and going straight to attack from defending bad position is quite obvious and clear concept now.
Awesome!!! Thank you!!!
Very detailed instructional. It has definitely improved my game.
Absolute gold, changed my game!!
Love the daily deals and diversity of videos to choose from. Definitely has elevated my game!
This is an amazing instructional. It covers in great detail not only how to escape all the common pins in Jiu-Jitsu but then how to counter back immediately. Danaher is brilliant as always!
