Amazing instructional
As all of John's instructionals this one is top shelf information. Some people think they don't need to know closed guard nowadays but its a part of the game that is a must to know. Enjoy the information
Danaher explains how the closed guard is still very important in the new age of leg locks. John explains and knows Jiu jitsu like no other reason my Gordon Ryan is the King

Exceeded any expectations! Amazing instructional.
Tremendous resource for detailed and well-organized instruction on getting to dominant or advantageous positions from the closed guard. The content tailored to shorter/thicker athletes is a game-changer.
Making closed guard into a system, now with the addition of leg locks.
This instructional definitely opened my eyes to what closed guard has to offer. Professor Danaher does a great job showing you the highest percentage methods to winning in closed guard.
John is awesome ! Placido GOAT uke !
Great instructional for any level.
As always, this adds exceptional ways of implementing thoughtful connections and principles to what we thought we knew. Much appreciated
Great for lighter and less stronger players, who can use the physicals of jiu jitsu to compete against a bigger and stronger opponent.
Another great instructional that gives you the confidence to apply the moves immediately!
Excellent video!
I love using the side scissor position and in new wave closed guard John found ways to make the position even more over **** than it already is. This section alone makes this instructional a 5 star rating. I’ve also been taking pointers from the trap triangle and top lock section to play a trilema between opponents hands on mats and elbow positioning. Like all of johns instructionals this will take way more than 1,2,3 full viewings. In the first viewing I watch for genera concepts to improve the way I play from the position and I also pin point techniques I would like to implement. From there my many other viewings of the instructional are to trouble shoot the things I’m working on. I usually work on this for a few weeks-months and then come back to watch with a clear mind and pick up on concepts I may have missed or forgotten about. Enjoy
Watching these instructionals has definitely changed my perception of how to attack from guard. Price of admission is worth it, when it changes the way you think about sparring.
Excellent, very applicable instructional
It's always great instructional video !
Very complete and detailed breakdown of the closed guard position.
The only no gi closed guard instructional you ever need. John Danahers instructionals are always worth the purchase
Buy with confidence! Great like all of John's other instructionals.
This video has given me the tools and fundamentals necessary to be confident in closed guard.
