Amazing changed my whole game
Clear, insightful and actionable demos that I was able to incorporate easily.
John is by far the best instructor ever! This is a perfect example of his skill set to teach! All overall concepts and the level of details is unmatched!
Very improve my side control
super
New wave videos with Danaher are Amazing! the technique and methods are mind blowing and has helpt my top game skyrocket!
Excellent system for advancing from side control, either to a more controlling position or to submissions.
All the Danaher material / systems are excellent. Wish I would have purchased it sooner honestly.
Awesomeness!
..but since i can't these instructionals are the next best thing. Been learning more about jujitsu with John's instructionals past year or so than the 3 years before it by just training.
Clear and concise instructions. Really like how coach goes into philosophy of mechanics rather than just showing a technique. I like getting the answers to the whys.
This side control system is awesome. It really gives step by step instruction to submit your opponent from side control.
A great complementary instructional to the mounted 4x4 instructional by danaher. The two together give you a road map in world class top game strategy.
This is a very comprehensive catalogue of side attacks that flow and transition well with each other especially once you've covered all the material. Would highly recommend to improve your side control submissions.
Have really enjoyed watching John’s New Wave content based on no-gi. Found this to be an updated and next step after the Go Farther Faster serious. John is a legend and teaches the why in addition to the what which I find to very helpful in developing your game.
As a semi-new BJJ practitioner, I was in side-control situations where I often failed to capitalize and lost positioning. This frustrated me to no end, after watching this video my whole game got to a new level. To the point that just pinning down opponents would cause them to tap. Danaher is an expert craftsman, I would highly recommend anyone of any level to give this instructional a try.
very good systemized approach to side control
As is the custom of the New Wave series, the precision of the movements demonstrated are inspired. I enjoy the detailed explanations as much as I enjoy the detailed demonstrations. All of the New Wave series are a must for anyone serious about nogi grappling.
John Danaher approach to teaching is second to none. Side control attacks, North side transitions, pins, triangles, Kimuras, etc. It’s not just the moves but the explanation to every move and why it works as well as to stuff that don’t work on high level competition. Poor Placido struggled on this one:laughing: coach Danaher showed him no mercy
Very great pinning details and control grips. I've submitted higher belts who are much stronger than I with the back triangle sequence. One of my best moves now. Lots of detail and can be a little dry from the monotone voice, but great content
This is an amazing instructional. Danaher teaches actual pins from side control, and a system of when to go to mount and north south. It's really good, and will give you lots of options. That being said, I'd highly recommend you check out Craig Jones' Power Ride instructional. There, he makes a good case that often legs rides are often a better alternative to side control. You could still use Danaher's instructional with that material, so this one is still worth it.
Very Educational. Love this guy. Can’t believe he did all of these with a bum hip for years.
I finally was able to understand step by step goal while on side mount. Great video.
Gives clear goals and moves to advance position or submit from side control
John absolutely crushes it in this instructional. As you would expect, everything is covered clearly and in great detail. Do yourself a favor, pick this one up. Your competition will hate you for it!
