Great!
In depth details on escaping positions what to do and when to do it based on your opponents
Definitely helped improve my Jui Jitsu
Haven't gotten through it yet but the instruction is top notch!
Professor Danaher is a fantastic teacher and brakes down complex concepts for easy digestion.
Excellent!!
Don’t have the luxury of being able to train as much as I would like with two young kids just been born so these videos are a great way for me to keep at it from home.
After this course i changed my approach before i was crazy about submission as quick a possible now i m all about defence very detailed and very useful course
I started BJJ at the age of 41, and I live quite far away from my Academy and to complicate it even more I work shifts. So getting to training isn’t always that easy. In training there isn’t always time to ask a million questions either, because I don’t want to hold up the class. So, I have invested in getting the best help in order to succeed and getting better faster! John Danaher’s training series blew my mind, going into details that I haven’t heard of before or that I never thought could a difference in my BJJ. It is so helpful in breaking techniques down step by step, making my foundation so much better, a foundation that I can build on with my Academy training! Thanks so much
Excellent production and instructional
I don't have words to say how much this dvd helped my jiujitsu, everything make more sense after you watched this dvd and comes so eazy to escape, thank you John Danaher alot
I will not fault anything with regards to the technical content herein. It's geared towards beginners, but anyone will learn something. JD goes deep and as always, I feel grateful for how much knowledge he shares so openly. Well worth the price. Two complaints: 1) The video production in the introduction felt rushed and was confusing. It didn't feel like there was a good start at the beginning of the first volume. Not faulting Mr Danaher here, rather the way in which his material was introduced. 2) The young guy in some of the videos, cannot sit still! Found him very distracting while trying to focus on John Danaher's explanations. Those two minor criticisms aside, I'm happy with the purchase and grateful for the open sharing of knowledge. Thank you.
I am quite strong and heavy so I have naturally gone for top game. I am very good at pinning people, so this attack was my defence. But when caught in pins I was not equally effective as when dealing them out. I decided to try and fix this hole in my game and it isn’t easy but it is very helpful. I try to get my training partner to use the positions and I do my best to escape them using the techniques we just watched. It isn’t fun but the change in my attitude is bolstered by knowing these techniques work and it will only take a little more time for this huge amount of information to sink in.
Explains the basics like no other.
I am still at the first video and I took 10 pages worth of notes. The structure of the lectures is very good.
intresting content keeps me informed
The fundamentals in this series are taught in a very effective way. No BS or fluff. John Danaher is like Yoda, and his lessons are some of the best around. I always used to get stuck in side control, but the very first video in the series helped me immediately rectify those issues. The lessons about "Shrimping" and "Bridging" alone are worth the cost of the course, and that surprised me since I felt I already knew how to shrimp and bridge properly. The little details make all the difference, and I believe that even advanced BJJ practitioners can benefit from this course. The series is a treasure trove of knowledge that will help anyone develop a skill set that will serve as a foundation for one's entire BJJ career. When you can't be pinned, you can really focus on offensive techniques. It's worth EVERY penny, and that's the God's honest truth. Oss!
This is the best video system I have ever used. I will be buying more and telling any, who thinks they know jujitsu the secrets is in the details.
Awesome level of detail. Put across in a way that gets instant results.
The information is priceless, the video and audio quality are top notch, and John Danaher's explanations and demonstrations are clear and easy to follow. I highly recommend this to anyone I talk with about it. As a relative beginner who is on both the old and small side of average, I feel this set is giving me the tools I need to have a long and enjoyable bjj journey.
I whish that this video had been available when I started BJJ 4 years ago. I like the way Professor Danaher illustrates that each variation of a position will require a different solution. The neglect of this nuance leads to a lot of frustration when we, as beginners, try out a new move in live rolls and it doesn't work. I already see improvements when I roll with brown and black belts in my school as a four stripes blue belt. I'm forcing them to scramble much more than before. Thank you professor Danaher
As always John Danaher delivers high quality instruction with copious details and explanations that really help you to understand not only the move but why.
Another great video from John Danaher.
Great program!
Just started Jiu Jitsu last month and after seeing John Danaher's podcast on JRE, decided to buy this course and find it super helpful. He has a way of stressing the important fundamentals so that you understand the WHY and not just the HOW. I can really recommend this for all beginners!
