great wrestling video
amazing content
A complete system to learn to take someone down in nogi even if you are not a wrestler.
as someone who never wrestled, this dvd is actively changing my stand up game every time.
Awesome as always. If you like Danaher's style, you'll like this as well. Cool to have options other than shooting, especially for older guys and guys that didn't grow up wrestling.
Some useful moves that are easy to integrate into your daily rolls taught in a complete manner.
I can't wait to add ageless top game to this video, the mechanics are cool to watch.
Hearing John Danaher consider Ageless Jiu Jitsu for someone 35 or up like right in the middle of me being 35 just made my whole year, I cannot wait to connect this third part in the Standing2Ground series with Ageless No-Gi Top Game.
I'll never see standing position the same after John Danaher's explanation about thinking of it in terms of defense, I personally hope he doesn't mind that I consider him a coach from afar and tell everyone about him, sometimes literally writing down the link to this site on pieces of paper... I think the last person that got one was a security guard that opened a door for me.
Changed my takedown game
Although Danaher has no wrestling background, this instructional does a fantastic job of breaking down many different takedowns to a level that is accessible to most athletes. Excellent video
Thanks fot this great series
Perfect complement to Professor Danaher's first Ageless Jiu Jitsu Series. The Older/Less Athletic section alone is worth the price! I purchased several clinch/upper body wrestling instructional to try to weave something together. As an Athlete of Aging practicing Jiu Jitsu this takedown instruction and the Ageless series is a Godsend! Tension between my Professors has been high because they interpreted my inability to do athletic takedowns as "not listening" versus 56 year old knees. The curriculum should be required for all coaches and instructors! The fact is... trade offs between techniques to master and time of the learning curve need to be made when you have less time on the planet!
Excellent for less athletic people
I love the Judo throws from Danaher, very applicable to mma aswell
As a 61 year old Purple Belt I believe this instructional is what I have been looking for to take people down. Excellent is all I can say.
Amazing instructional. Well worth the money.
Thanks for your devotion to the progression of this sport. Your work has transformed this sport from a tough guy game to a thinking man’s game. THANK YOU!
I consider myself a mediocre wrestler at best, yet this series has really helped my understanding of upper body takedowns and setups which I’ve had great success in applying it in the training room. I highly recommend this series Jitsu practitioners of all levels.
For a person who doesn’t like shooting much, this instructional is going to fit nicely into my game. Danaher is the goat and as always his instruction is very well explained and very detail oriented. Even for a beginner like myself I can apply these techniques easily and immediately into my game.
Always incredible work by professor danaher. If you have already studied his defensive instructionals, time to get to attack
