Jeff breaks down the fundamentals of deep half like only he can. He has a gift for explaining things that can be confusing or complex in a direct, accessible way. I’d recommend any and all of his vids!
Glover gives a very good intro to three basic but connected sweeps from Deep Half, including entries and drills. As you can imagine, it should take about 20 minutes to show three sweeps, so there's some filler.
Very good stuff. Listen and practice
Its a step by step easy to follow system, there sweeps combined against the common reactions, if you drill It a little bit you Will be hitting the techniques on live rounds right Away. Sweeps your friends and learn top level escapes, Jeff IS super good explaining details
Jeff has a great way to explain not only what to do, but why it works. Also he makes it fun.
Great instructional
Professor Jeff Glover created a deep half toolkit so simple and so effective for any bpdy type applicable. He covers how to play a confident sweeping game and what to focus on and to avoid. His commentaries are conceptual and technical. If you want to get the deep half guard game you have to get this instructional!!
Great easy to follow instruction by one of my all time favorite grapplers!
Uncle Jeff has some slick ninja moves that help me not get beat up!
Solid instructional, easy to follow and apply :)
I learned the deep half on jeff’s old dvds. Here he comes with a brand new series and a great no gi system
First of all, this is a great instructional. Get into deep half... get the knee to the ground, observe the reaction, and go one of three ways. Super easy to understand and implement. Then he shows you a few ways to get to deep half, all of which are pretty easy to wrap your head around. Then he shows you some things to avoid. Thats about it... but worth every penny. Thanks Jeff!
Jeff does a great job of breaking down the deep half - organizing his instructional in an intuitive way starting with what to do from deep half, followed by how to get there and wrapped up with things to watch out for and how to prevent / counter.
Deep Half is a position I really enjoyed playing in yes Gi, but Jeff does a great job explaining the position from a no gi standpoint. He does a fantastic job of explaining the deep half position "do's and don'ts". I Highly recommended this instructional, its great for anyone who is newer to half guard or has been playing the position for sometime, as its filled with the little details that make the position work.
this is the #1 video for you to watch as you star to learn deep half guard. Jeff cuts out the things you dont need and focuses on just the most important. #1 video to start learning deep half guard.
Really love the way Jeff teaches. I was playing a lot of half guard and decided to check out some info on Deep Half and it has paid off for sure. I believe this is applicable for gi also. I like the white board approach and also how many times he will incorporate previous movements as he continues.
