I always liked Armlocks from mount but it was a 50/50 whether I'd execute from start to finish. Now I feel like once the process has started they are not getting out, from transitioning from mount to breaking grips. Had my first competition as a new blue belt and landed the Armlocks in my first match for a 1minute submission Used to **** at Armlocks from guard but now they are getting quite clean too Thanks Lachlan Giles for another great series
I can actually sit through the entire series with Lachlan's stuff, unlike a Danaher instructional where I am falling asleep within 30 minutes.
Lachlan explains every position and focuses on all the small details in such a clear and a comprehensive manner. my armbar finishing rate improved significantly after watching his videos!
Dope as **** lots of content on here Like his other instructionals
Excellent, indeed
I've never been a big armlock guy, but making a lot of use of the shoulder crunch position and the head and arm control has really given me a new angle to attack from. Previously I loved kimuras from everywhere but had some of the problems Lachlan briefly discusses here where you can get shut down by larger opponents from half guard, but using the shoulder crunch I can get my hips free a lot easier and either attack the choi bar like he teaches or go with a Kimura. The volumes that I liked the most went into half butterfly and closed guard because the content was easy to understand and readily applicable, but I would like the opportunity to drill some of the other content so I get more use from the set. This is a great instructional for anyone looking to add armbars to their game with the added bonus of looking flashy with hitting choi bars.
I love pairing Lachlan's content besides Danaher. Danaher has more depth, but Lachlan more breadth (in general). There are lots of great details here.
Good previews and breakdown of the techniques Huge amount of techniques inside Instructional is hot as fire
Very very good and complete instructional. It includes almost all types of armbar done by the pros today, like the choi bar. Lachlan its a prodigy seer of bjj.
Lachlan Giles has got to be one of the best instructors, I've personally benefitted from the Choi bar especially.
Seriously so good. Just like the half guard it undersells itself because I assume it’s just arm locks, but this covers the shoulder crunch position as well which is something I was very curious about as well. So much content. Great buy.
Easy to understand from entry to finish
As always from Lachlan Giles, this instructional is excellent. The armbar used to be one of my least favorite/sought after submissions. Now it was one of my go-to subs. The level of detail is top-notch and it moves at a great pace that keeps you engaged from start to finish!
Everything Mr Giles produces is gold.
Giles is as always an amazing instructor that really thinks about how to Transport his Information the best way. Content really helped my armbar game.
Very detailed instructional! Made an immediate impact in my arm bar game. Very good for anyone having difficulty finishing or setting up arm bars.
the necessary details for a great arm lock game are all in this instructional. very impressive series
Just started watching this instructional and difficult to stop. Amazing amount of details. Highly recommended.
World class instruction with amazing audio, video quality. The best production value I have seen on BJJFanatics . I also enjoy Lachlan's demeanor , and teaching methods.
extremely good
excellent
Really good series, there's a TON of material here. This is months worth (or more) of study. Actually have confidence to go for armbars after this series. I find Lachlan easier to watch than some others.
Just love the way he teaches and this was another gem
This is my first instructional and I am a little bit overwhelmed from all the detail in every technique. It is very good and helped me a lot to understand why some things work and why not.
Lachlan giles is a revolution in jiu jitsu. It's perfect from leg rock to armlock. I am looking forward to this adcc2022.
