What I like the most is how he takes the time to explain and show what can go wrong if the technique is executed poorly.
John is a legend. His instructionals are top-notch, especially the ageless series.
Awesome series
Can"t wait to try it out
Amazing!
As with all of his products the details are amazing. His ability to break down movements and distill the essence for average grapplers is highly beneficial. Definitely glad I added this one to my library.
Still new details
John does it again here. Excellent moves for the less athletic man you wants to win his matches with techniques. His instruction here is so crystal clear I do believe this is some of his best work.
I love it this DVD!
Don't think you can make an instructional much better. With the combo of ageless top (and bottom) video you really learn not only half guard top / bottom but also submissions and control. Control from side , Submissons. and more. JD really explains HOW to use it, and also howto train. i recommend both top (this) and bottom - since you both now what to defend against and how people can defend. The big picture becomes clear as crystal. A compact easy to follow on howto do. You cannot fail with the subjects explained and since its not flashy things its really easy to apply. very efficient and economic motions with maximum effects. A true masterpiece.
Great series no go instructions for older jijitsu. Thank you
Excellent half guard bottom game for slower/older people
Nobody does it like he! Master teacher at his best!
Great instructional as always. JD delivers again
Easy to understanding and help for everyone
Danaher has such a mastery of Jiu-Jitsu and has a gift of delivering succinct instruction while informing the viewer not just what to do, but why the movement matters. Each of his videos are thoroughly structured in a progressive manner. This series focuses on moves that require minimal strength and athleticism. Even though this series is geared toward the older practitioner, this thought process should be developed early on so that athletes can continue their game into their golden years. Thanks for all of the information, like always, John!!!
Ageless Jiu Jitsu is a game-changer! John Danaher's expertise shines through in this exceptional guide. It empowers older and less athletic practitioners to dominate with innovative techniques. A must-have for every grappler!
A must have if you are like me master defense always first this will help
Danaher is always amazing. This series is great because you also come across Brian Glock, whose new instructional are amazing.
The video has helped me tremendously. I’m 54 years and only been training for 4 months. The video has helped me compete with much younger, more agile and bigger players.
Easy and simple instructions by danaher. Had to buy after the bottom game for older athletes
already owned the bottom game of the ageless series so this was a no brainer. This series has definitely helped with my understanding of how to slow an opponent down and dictate the pace. Got 2 Gold and 12 silver in my first comp. Looking forward to adding more as the yare released.
Good material
I like Danahers approach to this ageless series. It is still thorough, but has a little bit of a cleaner less repetitive delivery. Lots of cool things in this one. I particularly like the north south choke details, and the upgraded version of the americana.
Being over 50 my primary submission technique with younger more athletic grapplers was the threat of incontinence, not I have options!
