A lot of people complain
A lot of people complain that Dannaher is long winded....I prefer this. You can really learn a lot and get a deep understanding. I enjoy the videos and almost take them as lectures.

As a 2 stripe white belt... I ****. As far as I can tell, if im wise, ill get good at surviving soon :joy:. This lesson block on guard retention is awesome. Simple easy to follow instructions on how to effectively learn (with tons of live practice) what your opponent HAS TO DO to get inside and score/ pin you for smashing. I have enjoyed all of my BJJ Fanatics vids. But John Danaher is on a field of his own here.

Danaher utilizes two approaches in this instruction. In the first half he utilizes general principles for guard retention. Then in the second half he goes through particular responses to particular passes. Altogether he provides a robust response to the passing game.
