Was a game changer for me when I was hurt and not as explosive. Helped me to stay calm and work out of bad spots consistently!
Excellent!
As always a complete gem; Principles and techniques that will help you A LOT.
This instructional filled in a ton of critical details most instructors miss when covering pin escapes.
classic danaher, lengthy and plenty of depth , great details on the mount escapes i have used regularly to recover and go straight to offense
Nothing but the best as always! You cant ask for a better instructional!
New Wave Jiu Jitsu: A New Philosophy Of Positional Escapes by John Danaher. Use escapes to create immediate submission attempts - WHY NOT???!!!!!
This has been a great overview of the 5 positional holds that really gave me some great perspective not only on escaping but moving into a dominant position from a weaker position. I highly recommend this video, it has really changed the game for me.
Fantastic! My escapes has significantly improved, then immediately going on the attack with kipping, blocking techniques against opponents wedges, shields, huge improvement on my elbow escapes, back escapes, hand fighting. I now have spinning escapes, high leg escapes. You learn not only to be extremely difficult to pin, but to escape and immediately go to arm bars, triangles, heel hooks. As one can go from giving up back to Head Fighting to a Leg attack. Today I rolled from Kuzushi to guillotine. Then from Side elbow escape to triangle.
Danaher gives you a plan. Not only that but some of the details are game changing. Highly recommend!
👍
The body triangle escapes are worth the price of admission. John Danaher’s explanation of pinning theory are helpful for me.as well
There's something extraordinary about John Danaher and he's way of teaching BJJ. When I watch other bjj practitioners' courses I often get a bit bored after 10 minutes of watching. That's not the case with John's material. Even though one volume takes an hour and a half, I loose track of time. He's the best teacher of bjj of all time.
Really detailed and enjoyable. Ties in well with the GFF escapes which I spent several months working through. This course will likely take me more time to develop the skills it demonstrates than the GFF course. That being said, having watched through it I have no doubt that it will be worth the time. Both escapes courses by Danaher have led to significant improvements in my game.
Even with the gi or no-gi, J.D always delivers the best.
The level of detail here is amazing. John Danaher is one of the best martial arts coaches because if his emphasis on biomechanics, and his knowledge of known reactions by opponents based on the sport. Highly recommended!
Awesome……Danaher breaking down details as usual. You can’t go wrong with his instructionals. I’m
This Danaher’s instructional is a must have. It is a game changer. Highly recommended.
Fantastic instructional that will help turn your escapes into effective offense and allow you to escape any difficult position.
Great
There's all the other instructionals and then there is Danaher. If you're ever wondering what to buy then I would always default to Danaher. Never fails to amaze me.
John has a way of explaining positional escapes in a way that is both practical and conceptual. This will greatly bolster your ability to escape inferior positions and impose your game against the opposition.
Awesome instructional video. It focuses on the basics and it is taught very well. A good foundational video for practitioners of all abilities.
I initially flinched at the price of this instructional. Think about it this way however, you're learning elite level escapes that will ensure you are never pinned or held in an "inferior" position again for the price of 1 maybe 2 months of jiu jitsu classes. I agree some of the sections are very long, but the details taught here are what are required to be able to escape pins by superior grapplers. This instructional is worth the time and investment.
With Danaher you know what you get. A very detailed instruction. This has helped me a lot to get more on the offense, not just escaping. I really recomend it.
