Maintaining and attacking from mount has become much easier. Highly recommended
Indeed, tremendous.
very well explained excellent content.
is a practical and straightforward guide to improving your mount game in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The 4x4 system simplifies common challenges, making it easier to control opponents and set up submissions. With clear instructions and effective drilling methods, this instructional is a solid resource for anyone looking to enhance their skills in the mounted position.
Incredible detail and effort gone into making this great instructional. Great break down of getting into the mount and control from there.
excellent stuff, tremendous detail
This feels like a whole new look at positional winning. Each position has variations and everything kind of ties together once you understand the concept. Even if (for some reason) you don't care for the movement's... the principles behind them at priceless!!
The best instruction I have ever seen delivered anywhere. 23 years in the US Military and 12 of those years as an instructor myself in the service John delivers excellence with a gift for drawing attention to the finer details of the art such as specific gripping techniques, explaining leverage/pressure to explaining pitfalls of the move which are demonstrated as common mistakes to avoid. Extremely well structured and easy to follow. I've been studying Mr. Danaher's instructional for years and it is a massively effective tool to improving your Jiu Jitsu.
this gave me the submission game plan I needed
the best!
Great video - Very detailed and insightful as usual. Learn how to establish control from the mounted position
great
Always great stuff, very details I had never heard about before, great for all levels.
5/5
very clear explanations, tons of insightful info from Professor X as usual!
Going from watching John Danaher's defensive pin escape courses for months to watching John Danaher demonstrate legs kimura on placido while gripping his own thigh is terrifying to watch,
Really helped me think of not only mount but all positions in a fresh way. Already applying these concepts into my game!
Once again, John gets in-depth with the unlimited options from mount, from traditional setups to the multitude of variations put together in an easy to follow, knowledgeable way. A must have for any no-gi enthusiast.
Another great instructional by Danaher. Very detailed, as always,
I bought this DVD given I always felt my mount attack to be weak and unstable. I'd rather wait in side control and wait for an opportunity to submit from there or to take the back, but would never try mounting someone as good as (or as better) than me. Watched this ****, practiced, really studied it, and without a joke my mount has become the main weapon of my game! Smother chokes and kata-gatames all the time. And the best part? The mount *makes sense*. Buy this ****
The emphasis placed on pinning in this dvd has helped me solidify mount. Love it!
Excellent strategies for climbing the hierarchy of controlling positions in the mount system and focuses on four main submissions.
No Gi mount made great again by the wizard himself, John Danaher.
Pure gold! John will level up your game. He has a great teaching style and deep knowledge.
For anyone who feels much more comfortable in side control, where they can control a round, but don’t necessarily have high percentage dangerous attacks, this video is a must. It will make you way more comfortable transition to mount, keeping mount, and having attacks that are way more threatening than side control attacks. If you are only going to get a few of JD’s content, this set should be high priority.
