Solid half guard instructional. There’s a wide selection of techniques and setups, with a consistent theme of principles. I like the logical flow of the instruction. Also I’ve become something of a Lachlan Giles fanboy. My favorite instructor for video courses.
Very detailed instructions made my half guard better
Lachlan’s Half Guard Anthology is a fantastic instructional and helped me build a knee shield game from the ground up. Absolutely recommend.
I improved my half guard game so much since watching his videos., even against stronger an more experienced opponents
Lachlan has created a troubleshooting manual to BJJ. He delivers and instructional that is accessible to all yet perfectly detailed. You will not regret this purchase.
It’s real nice So much info
Very clear and easy to understand
best instructional I have ever bought
Best instructional I have ever bought
I’m still learning half guard but it instantly made my game better.
Amazing DVD. Learn from the best keg locker in jiu-jitsu. Great instructions. Easy to follow. Helped me catch my leg locks up to the rest of my game.
Awesome lessons, great instruction
Awesome Videos
Improved my guard game. Will make you feel much more comfortable to attack from the bottom.
A lot of information is provided without repeating, so there’s a lot to consume. The videos he uses from training to illustrate techniques in the real world are helpful. Highly recommend.
I keep practicing a as i saw on DVD. It is good to be able to enlighten the concept for halfguard and always refer to the blockage. I'm grateful to lachlan for filming a quality lecture.
Love this instructional because it's a full guard game essentially. It includes variations of half guard as well as sit up guard and reverse de la riva. It also shows how to get to half guard and also includes how to fix 'bad' hg positions.
So much content well worth price
Pair this together with Danaher's New Wave Half Guard instructional. Danaher has more depth, but Lachlan more breadth. With their forces combined, you will be unstoppable. : )
This is awesome. There is so much here, and it's incredible. That being said, I do prefer Danaher's New Wave Half Guard instructional, especially for white belts. However, get both if you can, because Lachlan goes over a LOT. They are great paired together. Between those two instructionals, Danaher has more depth, but Lachlan has more breadth.
Excellent
Complete and precise
Excellent!
Helped me to become much more comfortable in half guard position and gave me the building to blocks to start developing a real game from half guard. I really enjoy the teaching style of the video.
Lachlan is thorough and breaks down techniques in plain language. I only wish some of the formatting was different.
