I tried triangles many times without success until I watch these videos and I noticed my mistake. To much shoulder exposed. Now, I just turn, eliminated the shoulder and I can make a very tight triangle. His explanations are very detailed. I could listen to him explaining the The Hokey Pokey and it would sound absolutely believable.
I have bought almost all of JD's sets, but this one was truly a game-changer for me. I binged watched these over a few days and immediately wanted to put it to work at open mats. I only went for triangles and I triangled every person I rolled with, including my brown belt coach (I'm a purple belt). I am a big over, over 240 pounds, and do not have long legs. I do powerlifting so my legs are quite thick, especially my quads. Triangles were so difficult for me before. Now I'm KILLING everyone with triangles.
Very detailed. I’ve never been a fan of triangles until now.
I have been downloading content and videos for a long time and man did this one not disappoint. SO in depth and very high quality video too. Highly recommend !
Clinic on my favorite technique from the man himself. When it's Danaher, you don't need to worry about whether you're going to get meticulous detail on the physical movements but the philosophy as well. Highly recommended.
Excellent
Solid information with some alternate views to finishing the triangle!
Incredible content. Love it so much I’ll make my future children watch it every night before bed.
Recently purchased this and it's added some great concepts to my triangle game!
As per usual with John Danaher, the level of detail for every step (including the steps in between the steps), is included here with incredible philosophical breakdown. The why you are doing something is every bit as important as the how/when with any moveset in BJJ, triangles especially since they are so hard to nail in a live roll or match. Thanks John and Bernardo (poor Placido) for putting together yet another amazing product! A+ 10/10!
As a guy with thick, short legs triangles proved to be a challenge which I would often blame on physical attributes. Which is disheartening as triangles are, to me at least, one of the core pillars of BJJ. Professor Danaher's tweaks on the details have allowed me to bring them back into my bag of tricks. I highly recommend this as this is a steal to have this valuable content available to you at your convenience.
Hands down the best instructional I have seen at the moment
Great video, and easy to understand instructions. I would highly recommend this video
fantastic breakdown of the triangle series john is a master of communication
Excellent
All those little details that make or break your triangle submission are covered here in meticulous detail — great instruction!
Never once submitted someone with a triangle. Until I watched this instructional. Great video!
This DVD set has changed the way I attack and approach the triangle. As always, John breaks things down into a comprehensive yet easy-to-digest model that any grappler can benefit from, no matter the level.
incredible and game changing
Really Great Dvd, has help my triangle game too the next level
John's breakdown of the triangle has added a new dimension to my game. I have always gravitated toward the front triangle but after working through the lessons i have begun to see triangle openings in all positions.
This content is beyond most of what I have seen taught in BJJ . the system is very well thought out and emphasizes on principles instead of a collection of moves and also stimulates your thinking on how to approach BJJ , John Danaher's teaching method is also very concise. learning this content has improved my Jiujitsu a few notches ,and will make sure to retain most of it. it is also a great tool to review my Judo Ne Waza techniques with a microscope . it is really motivating to keep on learning content of that caliber .Thank you ! OSS !!!
I bought the digital set. John’s teaching style is very detailed and well demonstrated. His systematic approach to BJJ helps you see how locks, holds, and submissions link together. My only complaint is I have trouble playing the MP3 download on my tv. Please offer more file formats.
Great system that can be immediately applied in your training.
It's John Danaher! Not much else needs to be said, but he does a fantastic job showing different ways to throw on your triangle. He attention to detail and explanations are outstanding, it has really helped me focus in on my triangles and look to throw them from different angles and setups
